I grew up going to PJs which became Westbury Farms in Walpole. I remember it having really basic but good breakfast. Diner-ish and no frills but I always loved their pancakes. Fast forward 18 years to the Norwood location. This may have been the worst meal Ive ever had. I couldnt even eat it. I was astounded theyd serve food like that. I got the Mexican Sunrise which was eggs, peppers, onions, and sausage over a biscuit. The menu indicates you can choose to top it with cheese or hollandaise sauce. I thought that meant cheese or the sauce. Not cheese sauce. Had I known it was cheese sauce I would have skipped either one. Let me make an informed order and I would have been slightly happier. I scraped the cheese-wiz off and started eating. I took 2 bites and feared that the sausage had gone bad. Everything was cold. The cheese-wiz didnt even warm anything below it up! It was a sad looking plate and I only ate the biscuit. It came with pre-made fruit salad. I ate the fruit but my meal was such a letdown. Finding a hair was just icing on the cake. Gross. My husband got eggs, bacon, and homefries. The bacon looked like they cooked it looong ago. The homefries were totally overcooked and the eggs were cold. There were only about 10 people in there on a Saturday morning at 9am. Theres no reason both our meals should have been cold. Our server was sweet and I felt bad that she had to serve junk like that. She asked if everything was OK when she saw I didnt eat mine. I told her the sausage might have gone bad if the kitchen wanted to know. They took it off the bill. I know it isnt her fault so I did feel bad that shed have to deal with this. I saw her with my plate in the kitchen with a cook/owner. I THINK he tasted it. Double gross, though Im not 100% sure. The decor is dated and a tiny bit grimy. The booths are purple and the fake flowers on the tables need some dusting. Ill never go back. Clearly they dont care about serving good food. I was realistic in what I was expecting but so many other diners can do it much better.

When I went there the food was OK. Except for the fact that a few flies landed on it. This was because they do not have a room to store their dirty dishes, instead put the dishes in the dining room. My utensils were also dirty, along with my table and seats. Go to IHOP instead. It is worth the expensive prices.

If you like the way your grandmother cooked you will like the way its done at Westbury. Portions are great and resonably priced. A place where you can get a real old fashioned boiled dinner. Worth every penny. Love the place!

Good service. Kind folks running the place and waitresses have always been kind. Food isnt the best diner food but is pretty good. I would recommend it. Worth a try if you love diner food at a good price.

Convenient, comfortable. Very friendly staff and a more home style menu from the usual chain restaurants.
