I am utterly shocked at how rudely I was treated trying to place a takeout order. I was understanding of the fact that I was on hold several minutes after they first answered because it was a Saturday evening; but when the woman returned to take my order she said "What do you want." Didnt think much of it, though in hindsight it was curt. I said could I please get shrimp scampi and the woman said, "Over pasta?" to which I quickly asked the person next to me whos choice if that was fine then said, "Yes, please." Then I asked if that dish came with anything like soup or salad since Ive dined there in the past and recall many entrees come with a choice of the two. She blurted "It comes with pasta!" I said, "I meant soup or -" to which she interrupted me with "Excuse me but Im really busy here, could you hurry it up?"...I was really taken aback, especially because I didnt ask anything abnormal and I was the one put on hold - not her! So I said "Excuse me? I cant believe youre talking to me like that when Im placing a take out order. Then she hung up on me. My phone happened to be on speaker and our jaws dropped. Ive dined here many times; was just there the other week with my in-laws even. Needless to say, I wont be returning.

The food was good. The service was not very good! My wife ordered Chicken Parmesan and she got Chicken Mozambique totally opposite of Chicken Parmesan and we had to pay for the Chicken Mozambique even though we didnt even order that! Waiter was arguing with my wife saying that my wife had said she wanted Chicken "Mark" What the hell is Chicken Mark?!?!?! Everyone heard my wife say she wanted "Chicken Parmesan" not ghetto Chicken Mark!!! We had four people order soda and one refill each. Well we got charged $20.00 for four sodas and for four refills. Total rip off!!! Food took a very long time to come out of kitchen. Wont be going back there anytime soon!!!

Made reservations for 10. Only 2 people for waitstaff in the whole restaurant, not including the bar. Waiters could not help each other. They need bus people to clear tables and get water/drinks. Service very slow. Housefries served on the same plate as the cacoila. No juice in the meat because it was soaked up in the housefries which became soggy. Shrimp and chicken in the mozambique was very dry and overcooked. Otherwise good.

Soggy soup noodles it was like mush ..i sent it back untouched and was still charged for it the owner was very rude and the stuffed clams casino was not fully cooked and watery... me my mother and my father will not be returning since the owner thinks itz ok to be disrespectful to the customers...

Recently held a family function here. The service and food was outstanding. A very fine locally owned business whos concern is your satisfaction. Great people to deal with and a fine place for dinning out. Thank you John for a fine brunch and never ending service by your staff.

Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. Menu has a wide selection. Im a fussy eater so usually only like a few things on the menu, but here, I have difficulty deciding, as I like most of the menu. We eat here about once every two months or so... Its a no-brainer.

Food was good. Service was slow but I think they were down a few people. My brother and his girlfriend are regulars and they threw is a free picture of sangria for the trouble. Id come back. Bar area seemed OK.

Awful, everything. All stuffed dishes with ritz crackers and butter. Lobster tiny, claMs unwashed and swordfish fishy. Absolutely disgusting and waitress didnt care.

Dont live near by but when Im in Tiverton we stop there. Friendly and comfortable. The Golden Fish is GREAT, served on a bed of saffron onions. Wish I had the recipe.
