Mikaku has absolutely the best sushi around. Im comparing it to places Ive been to in LA and NY and this is truly first class. Its elegantly decorated, spotless and every dish weve had has been like something out of the old Iron Chef before they came to America-real art. The head chef Arthur loves to talk about the finer points. Its really helped us improve our appreciation for fine Japanese food. Were going back for a Kobe steak-economy be damned - and some sake, definitely some sake..

This is the very BEST Sushi I have ever had!! The chef, Arthur, and his wife Dorothy have created a wonderful restaurant with a perfect, peaceful atmosphere. The fish is so fresh and Arthur is an artist in the creation and presentation. Each new dish I try is better than the last. The service is excellent. The prices are comparable to the quality, and I believe it is better than anythink I have found in Boston or San Francisco.

The sushi at Mikaku is just phenomenal. Freshest fish, tightly rolled maki, and an amazing selection of sushi, sashimi and rolls. Beautiful presentation of the food, and it tastes as good as it looks! The restaurant is beautiful too. Five stars.
