So if youre looking for a lowkey place to hang with your friends, this is definitely it. The food and drinks are cheap, and the bar pizza is amazing. Lots of tvs, and they have keno & scratch tickets. As good as the food is though, its not really the place you want to take your family during the day.. they seem to be understaffed in the daytime, so service is slow and the food takes a while. But to be fair, they dont claim to be a restaurant, its more of a pub atmosphere with a big bar area, and a dining area with a few benches & tables. They do have highchairs, too. I highly recommend this place for a fun night out. (Also, their menus say they have karaoke every thursday night)

Dont go to Buddys Union Villa if youre looking for trendy gastro-pub food, a curated wine list, or unique architectural ambiance. Go for the fantastic bar-style pizza (and always order it with burnt edges), the amazingly affordable drinks (I mean, unbeatable), and the comfort of finding an old-school tavern with local sports on the TV, great tunes on the jukebox, and the friendly patrons seated around the bar.

There was the smell that I couldnt Maaco but it was almost like youre in but the weird part is I was standing at the bar and no one was next to me and I have clean shorts on. And Cook County bar so cant really expect too much out of it and the pizza is overrated
