So good! Our favorite bakery. My oldest daughter is in love with the "melon pan" and I enjoy it just as much as it brings back happy childhood memories for me. (BTW, it does not contain melon or taste like melon, but named because it looks like a melon. It is a must try!) My younger daughter declares the croissant to be the best in the world! Everything really has been delicious, including the creme brulee toast, red bean buns, apple cider donuts, pumpkin muffin... Our family has been going every Saturday for more than a month now, and looks like the streak will continue this morning!

This bakery is worth finding because of the deliciousness they make there! The eggnog doughnut (seasonal item) and the Valrhona chocolate doughnut are incredibly good, and the chocolate cupcake got a thumbs up from our 5-year-old. They offer sandwiches, pastries, and lunch specials in addition to gluten-free dessert options; and some traditional Japanese pastries too. My favorite is the coconut crisp cookie with chocolate in the middle - soooooo gooooood! Look forward to future visits!

Extremely delicious and fresh bakery; you can try anything and probably wont go wrong, but our favorites were the almond croissants and the chocolate croissants. Weve been to many delicious bakeries in France and Japan (of which this reminds me), and Koko does not lag behind in comparison. Such a precious find in a random Boston suburb. We went back on all the days we could while staying in Boston!

The bread is very good here. The sticky buns were especially buttery and delicious! Our dogs also enjoyed their doggie biscuits, since they love sweet potato. Hopefully they will get a warming case in the future because it would be nice to have some of savory pastries warm as well.

What a truly lovely bakery. Everything is unique and very tasty! The quality is top notch and I look forward to each visit here. Ps. Their donuts may cost a fortune but they are delicate and packed with flavor. Make note: they are closed on Mondays.

Includes asian-bakery goodies, curry bread & red bean bread, in addition to a beautiful array of traditional cafe pastries, sandwiches, coffee. No seating in the cafe, but is well worth the carry out! Seasonal cider donuts are a sweet treat!

KoKo Bakery is one of my favorite bakeries in the Boston Metro. Amazing bread with a sourdoughesque taste and feel. The baked lemon donuts melt in your mouth and the vegan peanut butter cookies are absolutely delicious.

Love this little bakery. The savory croissants, especially the ham and cheese, are really tasty. Love the corn and cheese bun, the cream pan, the melon pan and the Japanese breads. The lemon donuts are to die for.

Stopped by with my BF and we each got a pastry. I picked the chocolate croissant and he got the sticky bun. Both were amazing! We will definitely be back as its just a quick stroll away from the office. :)

I miss a good baquette and croissant. Koko does a decent job. Croissant is crisp but only with a hint of butter. The almond croissant is not quite a croissant. Still glad that Koko is here in Newton.

Great little Authentic Japanese bakery tucked away in Newton. They make sandwiches, but are known for the Japanese breads. Small place so pretty much take out only.
