For the second time I clearly received the wrong cake!. I called last week (May 24, 2016) to order a round cake. I asked if I could have all blue frosting and pixie dust. I explained to the young lady I was using this as a Star Wars Cake. So no flowers just dark blue frosting. Well on Sunday, 5/29 when I go and get my cake its WHITE all WHITE....the young lady was rude and lets say not so helpful. She is actually the one who took the order and on her slip it clearly states blue frosting no flowers. I explain to her this is the second time I have received the wrong cake. When they were under construction and they could not find my cake in February 2015 I was given a fruit cake for my granddaughters 5th birthday. She say I dont think so but I have only been here for 2 months....My aunt has been using Piros Bakery for years and loves it. Well I have been using it for 5 years and they are not helpful when they make an error. Dont call and try to talk to management because I was just told there is no real day to day manager. One of the owners daughters comes by but she has no schedule.....I would suggest if you are new to Piros get a different bakery because you are sure to have an error with your order and no one will be there to work it out for you. My grandsons care was ruined! Hes 8 and it was a big deal to me....

Is the best pastry place but I do not like staff that works there they are definitely not friendly and dont know how to treat customers. I order the cake for my husband while the girl was taking orders she was talking to the other girl that works there, so when I went to pick up the cake it was completely not right when I told her thats not what I told her she gave give me attitude and said YES YOU DID. Its freaking my cake I know what we like... on top of that she did not even apologize ones instead of that she was keep blaming me that I place the order wrong

Something is certainly wrong here. Ive been buying cakes here for 13 years but now they dont use buttercream frosting unless you order it special and it costs $5 more. So I ordered it special. The absolute worst cake Ive ever had. The frosting was totally disgusting!! The frosting in between the layers was hard as a rock. I ordered a chocolate cake with white frosting. It was chocolate with off white frosting, white ribbons and totally messed up flowers. They must have a new baker or decorator bc these cakes arent the same. They are gross. I will not be back.

Piros is the best for those who dont know there family tree goes back to Tripolis Bakery thats there family I love there pizza ,meatpie,call ones are to die for,rice balls jyummy there cakes melt in your mouth pleasant workers the 3 brothers work as hard as anyone I know long days an nights but there product speaks for themselves if you are deciding wether to try or not do it youll LOVE PIROS OUT OF THIS WORLD,,,,,my diabetes suffers when I go here but we all gotta die sooner or later lol yummy yummy yummy

I just called Piros, have been going to over 15 years and they do not take orders for holidays now. Last holiday I was there an hour after they opened, only to find that they ran out of the breads I wanted. They hae always taken orders for pastries, now I cannot even order the items I have been craving throughout Lent! Will no longer go there.

Best cakes from MA to NH......!!! My only complaint is ordering cake ahead of time and saying a specific time for pick up...and you have to wait 45 mins in line when Im coming from NH!!! Have a separate line for pick up! Staff not friendly when I voiced my opinion about this. I would have given 5 stars!!

Being a new resident in the Methuen area, I relied completely on the reviews below of Piros Bakery. And am I glad I did! The cake was extremely moist and the butter frosting was excellent; it received rave reviews from everyone. I will definitely try their other products. Cant wait!

best bakery in the valley.. everything from the hermits to the cakes are superb.. prepared foods are wonderful.. such as eggplant, pasta with peas and sausage and their tuna salad is the best.. highly recommend Piros Bakery..
