5 dollars for a small iced redeye? I mean... no... just follow my logic here. Their iced coffee is in cold brew form, which they serve over ice... I asked for a medium redeye, which I got in hot form the week before- 3 and change (but also wasnt very good). They dont sell their cold brew in medium, only small and large, which to me makes no sense at all. I mean, how hard is it to pour the medium hot coffee over ice... which they clearly have. The shot of expresso came out piping hot (Id hope), so whats the difference between pouring a medium hot coffee over ice? I didnt ask for a cold brew but was basically limited to it as the only option. Okay, so its expensive, so what, but the coffee just flat out wasnt that good. It didnt kick, it didnt taste like strong coffee, and I didnt even taste the shot of expresso in it. When I pound a coffee only to have to go into work to brew a pot myself, I feel like I wasted money. I dont mind paying the 5 bucks for a good coffee, but this wasnt it. If the coffee at a coffee shop isnt any good, Im not going to pull the trigger on tasting their food. It didnt do it for me and I probably wont go back, which sucks because I live right around the corner and could use a quick coffee if Im running late. I want a good strong coffee, iced or hot, cheap or pricey is largely irrelevant, but it better get me going, and theirs didnt do it for me.

Great cafe right next to Forest hills. Went for the first time last weekend and really liked it. The atmosphere is very relaxed and warm and the staff were super friendly. Ordered an Americano and the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Both were excellent. Even though the egg is the round hockey puck style youre used to seeing at McDonalds, it was really good and tasted fresh. Really excited to find this place so close to my house, Ill be going back soon

Pretty cool cafe. Small but enough room to do work. Location is good too, being across from the train station however not much parking. The food is pretty good & the service is nice. My only complaint is its a little to cramped, bench seats arent the best for a area of "work" when you have to share that same space with strangers. My favorite part is the bathroom key is a pot

This is easily one of the best dining establishments Ive ever been to. The food is excellent and the service cant be beat. The ambiance is comfortable and inviting, the prices reasonable and the portions ample. The beverage selection offers something for everyone. I especially recommend Wednesday nights. #cantbebeat #quality

Interesting cocktails (some with homemade apertifs and infused spirits). The food is even better. Some of the best vegetarian dishes Ive had in Boston! (Awesome fried chicken too ;) ) Most plates are smallish and designed for sharing (so you can try a variety of the great dishes these guys are putting out!)

This place is so good! Best food Ive had in a loooooong time and family style serving is awesome for dinner with friends. They are also amazing with food allergies, very gluten free and shellfish allergy knowledgable! Cocktails and mocktails were perfect. (Photo of GLUTEN FREE BREAD AND BUTTER

Easily makes my top 10 list, great quality and friendly neighborhood joint. Always loved the coffee as fazenda rosters and the lunch sandwiches (great made-in-house bread!), and now a fantastic dinner menu and creative and well executed cocktail menu to boot. You just cant go wrong here.

Brassica (formerly Fazenda) has good coffee, pastries, and a nice laid back atmosphere. Just tried out their dinner and it was really great: stunning charred brussel sprouts, crispy fried chicken, and craft beer. Sad that Im moving out of the neighborhood before I can return...

Its a cafe that serves coffee. Theyve remodeled and changed names over the years, but it still remains a nice addition to the neighborhood. Im sure once Starbucks moves in with all of the ongoing development places like this will dwindle, but for now its a great spot.

Inventive cocktails and creative food. Felt like a lot of the dishes were too sweet such as the maple brussels sprouts. Favorite dish was the beets and yogurt. Entree plates are a bit small, but good and things were cooked well. Come on Wednesdays for $1 oysters!

Brassica is a fantastic addition to the area. The food was incredible and very reasonable priced. The Bolognese was to die for, the fried chicken stole the show. Holy crap. What was I thinking only ordering the 3 piece! Should have gotten the 5 piece.

This was well beyond going out for a meal. It was more like going to an art gallery were you not only get to look each dish as a piece of artwork but then you get to eat it too! The atmostphete was fantastic too!! I highly recommen this place!!

My favorite coffee in all of Boston. The burger on the dinner menu is amazing. Hand-crafted bar, kitchen, restroom, and outdoor signage is a nice touch. Really looking forward to taking my family here when they visit from out of town.

Had an event here and Jeremy, the co-owner and chef, wowed everyone with his phenomenal dishes. I also frequent Brassica for coffee, pastries, lunch and dinner and they just do it right.

Great creative tapas style dishes. Reasonably priced and large enough portions to be shared by a few diners. I look forward to dining again as the seasonal menu changes.
