The coffee and food itself is good, but the barista was an absolute snob. For all the attitude that was thrown around for my lack of knowledge about espresso drinks, he didnt know what a pour over was. I guess it was partly my fault that I did not do my research on what this cafe specializes in before going to the counter to place my order, but its no way to treat a customer. When the second barista was helping me decide the food I should get, the "snob" would just butt in and ask if I have decided yet. Extremely frustrating and dont expect this kind of behavior from a well reputed place. Its sad how some places forget the basics of treating people well when they just become famous and carry a reputation for their food and beverages.

Good food options, coffee and decor, but the music is way too loud. You cant think in here unless you enjoy classical music blasting through the ample speakers at an anxiety inducing volume. I did ask for them to turn it down but that didnt seem to have any effect. I left because of this and probably wont be returning to this location.

Good coffee shop alternative to corporate starbucks and has comfortable seating and darn good cold brew on draft. Good atmosphere with decent yet unobtrusive music. Only thing that would make it better is some micro brew beers. Seems to be more of a drink coffee and work place than a social gathering spot.

Had the cold brew. Very smooth, easy to drink! Slightly limited milk options with skim, whole, and half & half. Seating is wonderful ! Mix of tables, booths, and cushy chairs all around. Very roomy!

Such a nice quiet cafe, a great addition to the Brookline neighborhood. Love the ambience. The caramel frappe is a great drink on a hot sunny day.
