I tried this restaurant 4 times before giving it a bad review. The delicious food had me coming back but the table service got worse each time. The last time I went in we stood at the door alone for 10 minutes waiting to be seated while employees walked by ignoring us. Finally we seated ourselves which seemed to annoy them. Our drinks took 15 minutes to arrive and then they immediately took them away! Wrong drinks I guess but it took another 10 minutes for the right drinks to arrive without any apology. The waitress rolled her eyes whenever we asked for anything and at one point talked bad about us to the bartender. When they realized we could see them talking about us, they realigned their bodies so we couldnt read their lips and continued on. Its really too bad because the food was great and the few times I sat at the bar were fine but the table service turned me off forever. Ive never been back since that night even though I work across the street.

I had high hopes for this place I had someone left over and it was amazing the perfect blend of flavors and just amazing so I decided to visit lastnight had the chicken chicken, shrimp, lobster rosa and it was edible it was glorified american chop suey hold the ground been with three shreds of parmcheese. My guest had the seafood casserole the scallops were inconsistently cooked the whole dish was bland. The enviorment says casual dining was moderately busy and the service highly unattentaive and extremly slow. Ive tasted perfection from here but its not consistent. Sadly this place isnt diffrent than most in the area but has potential.

Good food, super nice servers, great kept secret! We have been there many times and I havent been let down once. In fact, the one time my brother went and was less than satisfied, we mentioned it on our next visit to the owner and he personally called my brother multiple times, to offer him a gift certificate to try it again. I feel bad for those who have had bad servers, as I have NEVER had that happened. Additionally, I just had the fish and chips this weekend and the piece of fish literally hung off either side of the plate. The food and variety is good, the service is good and value is fantastic! Definitely worth it.

The first time i had come in to get lunch I ordered a burger there. Not only was the burger fairly priced but it was cooked exactly how I wanted it unlike the last 10 times I ordered a burger at other restaurants. Not only was I happy with how the burger was cooked but the taste was well more then average, if the owner stops by your table like he did mine and talks about certified angus whatever listen to him and order the beef because the next time I came in I tried the prime rib which was part of the specials. Lets just say I know the answer to "wheres the beef?". It is at the Alumni Restaurant.

The food is pretty standard, but still done well. They have the basics with burgers and sandwiches, plus some specials which can be very good. What makes good, though, is the atmosphere. Each night they have something going on, like song bingo. Good bar where you can see people.. Lots of regulars, and the waitstaff is likely to greet you like on old friend if you become a one. Definitely a good family place. Go somewhere else for a singles scene. (But who knows? :-) )

This was our first time there. They have a big selection, nice bar and dining area and good service/pleasant staff! We had sirloin steak cooked perfect and a barbecue combo dish that was great! There was one issue but the staff was great and everything was taken care, they know how to take care of you and we greatly appreciated it. Also there was a gentleman singing Frank Sinatra songs and he was fantastic!!! Definitely will be going back.

This place is terrible. I was looking forward to go there and we waited 20 minutes for the bartender Tara to finally come over and take our drink order. They charge almost $4 for a draft beer! and it was warm. The steak tips were certainly nothing to talk about and the fish n chips come with a tiny piece of fish. If they could work on the food and get a bartender with half a brain and lowered their drink prices maybe theyd have a shot.

The kitchen made a deal with the devil and sold their souls in exchange for the recipe for the BEST, and I mean THE BEST Coconut Shrimp in the universe! Its not on the menu every day, but when it is you better order it. You will chewing on the tails, thry are so good! I also love that they put blueberries in their Wachusett blueberry beer.

I came in on a Friday night a few weeks ago. Couldnt believe how busy it was! Tom the bartender (awesome!) was a riot. He had the whole bar laughing. My friend and I had some beers and boiled lobsters. The beer prices werent bad at all! (I cant speak for the mixed drinks, we didnt have any.) Food was great, definitely going to go back.

Went there for Easter Sunday. The food selection was great. I couldnt move for 2 days! Chicken Marsala, Pasta Primavera, Potatoes, Veggies, Ham - it was all excellent. Desserts were yummy too. The server was very friendly and took care of our large table very quickly. Ill be back there again soon.

Went to Alumni for dinner on a Friday. It was full of friendly people having a good time. The service was very good. The food was plentiful and good but nothing special. The music was kind of loud but not out of character for a bar.

Alumni Restaurant and bar is a hidden gem. Not only was there great food and service, but the ambiance and character that it had was well above average. It is worth a visit, (I recommend the Burgers*)

Best bar food. Large selection and the roast beef sandwiches are awesome, with au jus and horseradish dipping sauce.
