Food is generally EXCELLENT at this Chinese-Japanese sister restaurant of Sushi House, upstairs from Asian Gourmet. Asian Gourmets specialty is Chinese fare, which caters to palettes for mainstream Chinese American as well as authentic Chinese —unless of course you sit down at the large Hibachi table (that takes up about a third of the restaurant), in which case youll get a good, traditional Hibachi Japanese experience. The beauty of its proximity to Sushi House, however, means that youre welcome to order anything that is offered on the latter restaurants ample Japanese menu as well as Asian Gourmets complete Chinese menu. The decor is comfortable — booths line both long walls of the place, and the chairs are comfortable. The service is uneven, however, making it the key to the missing fifth star. It can be excellent one day and found wanting the next. When the service is poor its worth noting that its due to inattentive service, never rudeness. I nonetheless highly recommend it, both for eating in as well as take-out. To me, its by far the best Chinese restaurant in the entire Concord area.

We visited this restaurant for dinner recently. This place is located out in the middle of the suburbs but since it was next to Route 2, it was pretty easy to get to. We ate here with friends and they ordered most of the dishes so I lost track of all the various items Ive tried. Just about everything we tried was good and we ate until we were stuffed. Were sure to bring our friends here in the future.

This place has it all, packed into a small building. They have Japanese cuisine, sushi, hibachi, and Chinese cuisine. I go for the Chinese cuisine and the clientele suggests they must be doing something right. I recommend the Dry Cooked Fish and the Crispy Pastry with Taro.

I stopped in for the 1st time tonight. I ordered beef and pea pods and white rice. I was the best i have ever had. It was quick, hot and delicious. The brown sauce was so good. I will definitely be a regular even though they are 45 mins away from me.

Excellent food, speedy service, great selections/offers, reasonable priced... What else is needed? If any criticism, I wish the circulation of the restaurant be improved, so I dont go home smell like food all over my clothing.

For lunch we ordered Sliced Beef Wrapped in Scallion Pancake, Sea Weed, Jelly Fish, and Bubbling Fish Fillet. It was an excellent meal. Both my friend and I enjoyed the food. Will definitely come again.

Chinese dishes are just about okay, the service is slow. They have a large hibachi grill in center of the restaurant which can generate a lot of unpleasant fumes. Id rather do a take out next time.
