My father, my boyfriend and I decided to try this place out last night (New Years eve). I called in the morning to make a reservation and was told they only take reservations for parties of 5 or larger. So we just headed down there in the evening. When we first walked in there was no one at the hostess stand. A few employees stood in the back area just looking at us. The hostess finally appeared and I asked if we were to seat ourselves seeing we havent been helped. She snapped back saying she was only one person. Then she came back a few minutes later and asked us how many were in our party. I replied three. She said there was going to be a half hour to a hour wait for a party of three. Half the restaurant was empty, tons of open tables and waitresses just standing around... didnt add up but okay. We noticed the bar had open seating as well so we just sat down there. The bartender (LJ) was the ONLY reason we stayed at this restaurant. She did her best to make us feel welcome even though she was extra busy taking care of everything the other employees were slacking on. As we sat at the bar, another party of three walked in. They were graciously seated and had no wait. This irritated me, why would they have no wait but we were told 30-60 min? Definitely doesnt seem right if you ask me. Overall the service was awful (except for LJ, she was the best!), the food took forever and was just average.

We are SO happy with the makeover of this long-standing local seafood place. It had run downhill, but new owners have done a great job of renovating it and the food is back to where it should be. A much better deal than Legal Seafoods, which serves fish chowder with no discernible chunks of fish, and clam chowder with few clams. Atlantic Sea Grill has great chowder and perfect fish! Dont be misled by the folks who have some personal gripe with an off day. The new waitresses are friendly and try hard. A great local gem, worth the trip.

There is nothing outstanding here. Typical dishes prepared well but without distinction. The shrimp scampi was a bit too oily for me but the seafood was fresh. The decor, while recently updated is also rather plain but on-theme and clean. The price was normal - but I considered that high considering the lack lusterness of the food and experience. Honestly, take a trip to West Acton and get a no-frills but really, really excellent meal at Twin Seafood.

The food was very well prepared and the service was personable, but something needs to be done to speed up the food preparation. Our party of three waited 52 minutes for the food to be served. When we arrived and placed our orders, with the exception of two couples, the restaurant was empty. I hope something can be done about this problem. Waiting for almost an hour to be served is too long.

My recent experience was terrible. The worst fried clams I have ever had. If you have had or smelled bad clams before, you know what I mean. Sent them back and could not eat. I heard another patron ask a waitress if it had changed hands recently. I gave it 2 stars because I have been there several times before - just not recently. This trip was 1 star.

This has become our go to seafood restaurant in the area. Why go to legal when you can go here? The seafood is fresh, the food is tasty, and the service and atmosphere are great. The menu offers a diverse selection of items to please everyone. They also have a little fish market in the back if youre interested in cooking up your own dinner.

Not the old fish restaurant! Weve eaten here many times since its been refurbished. The chefs are very good, the food is now excellent and tastefully presented with friendly, timely service. A little pricey or we would eat here more often. A great improvement and my favorite Acton restaurant.

Ive been here at least a half dozen times this year during trips out east. The fish is always fresh and prepared perfectly. The restaurant is always clean, comfortable with excellent service. This place is spot on! Definitely get there for the dollar oyster happy hour when its happening!

It is a nice little restaurant in Acton in a mini-mall. They have pretty good seafood. I like what I have got there. Service at times can be a little slow, that is why I am taking off one star. We eat there once a month or so.
