Arrived last night 4-20 with out a reservation and was told about 1 hour wait. That was fine and they were right, crowded and load. Was seated at a table which was the size of a serving tray and being sort of upscale place they should not have. First off waitress was poor. Never introduced herself just started with do you want drinks. Because we were only 2 people she was more concerned with another table than ours. I had the Bolognese which was just good, not much taste. Other person had the Saltimbocca which I did taste and that was bland also. The waitress would receive an "F". The young man that served the water was more engaging, the other waitress that helped ours even had a smile while serving. Now that I know it was my mistake for trying this place where there are others more preferable like Stockholders, Mia Ragazza even Barretts Ale House would have been better. Dont think I have ever written a review on any restaurant but I usually try a place at least twice to make a real judgement but it will take a lot to get me back there. Sorry. A "Smile" does wonders to people you serve.

My husband and I just got back from the new restaurant we were given a gift certificate for Christmas from our son and his wife and children. To start we did make a reservation for 5:45 one of the hostess wanted to seat in bar side very loud I said no thank you 5 minutes or so after discussing with that man at the door? Maybe he was the ????? Any way after that discussion we were seated at the restaurant side by the exit and entrance were the waitress and waiters and bus boy go in and out very much noise central The waitress greeted us with no name and felt rushed in and out the bus boy was the nicest and most professional person there. The food was delicious kudos to the chef Excellent Food but the waitress came over I was still eating and said are you still nibbling? ???? I was still eating my meal Like I said my husband and I felt rushed not a good experience and like I said it was a gift to us. The stars above were for the chef and bus boy

The wine was good and the food was decent. Service started off as excellent. One person got mussels appetizer as a main meal and although it was a good sized portion, several had not opened, which of course was disappointing. Nothing was offered, i.e., get some more to make up for what had not opened. I had the Bolognese, which was very rich and very heavy and had a good taste and consistency. Unfortunately, the acoustics are lousy and while we got seated on time for our reservation, unbeknownst to us, it was right in the path for everyone walking BACK AND FORTH. So....that, combined with the heavy food, left me feeling nauseous. This was why, for me, I gave this restaurant only 3 stars. If you go here, try to get seating in their back room, the back wall (not the one with the hanging cutting boards), or next to the patio doors. That way you wont feel like everyone in walking through your stomach....

Excellent food with friendly service. It was 6PM on a Thursday and this place was packed! It can be noisy inside but there is a option for outdoor seating. Prices were not crazy expensive. Most entrees are in the low to mid $20s. The bread with dipping oil was very good. Caesar salad with white anchovies was very tasty. The chicken parm and Sicilian style baked local cod was like a carefully calibrated balancing act of texture, flavor, and presentation. The portions were filling. I didnt leave hungry. With the parking lot and dining room at capacity, I still got my food in a reasonable time. The server kept checking in to ask how things were and if i needed anything. Shrimp scampi pasta was excellent. Grilled octopus was AMAZING!. It was tender and with that special sauce, oh so tasty! It was nice to see the owner mingling with the customers. Reservations are a MUST.

Visited this new gem Friday night, it was late and it was packed still. (Good for them!) So well designed, fantastic color schematic and great lighting. So I was solo and just there for a quick bite so I sat at the bar. Service was friendly, just what you expect. The food though! The inch and a half pork chop was just how it should be med-med/rare and moist, vinegary peppers livened up the taste buds and perfect garlicky mashed potatoes, with two light sauces surrounding the meal. Just a snapshot for me but Im definitely going back. I pity the surrounding establishments, they are going to lose much business.

My wife and I waited patiently for the opening. Since opening day weve been here three times so far. Amazing. Its now our date night spot Service is top notch. Especially considering its packed as a fresh open. The Food is a solid rendition of true Italian based in local ingredients and the Chefs own personal style. Drinks are well poured and bartenders are super friendly. Want to skip the line? Hover at the bar for 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival for our reservation, men were in the parking lot with blowers and were spraying the vehicles with gravel, so we moved to a distant part of the lot. We sat at the bar and the service was good. The old Vin and Eddies bartender is still there. When our entrees came out my wifes bolognese was cold and the meat was over cooked. My chicken saltimbocca had a very unusual sour taste to it. We wont rush back.

Finally some very fine dining south of Boston , after some recent closures of local favorites. The menu was diverse, the service above average, the artisan cocktails were great, the food Superior and the dessert heavenly. Period.
