Have been to Ecco on numerous occasions with family. The restaurant is in a strip mall and you are a bit leery until you get inside. And you say wow I never thought it could be so nice in here for a strip mall. It is a well designed restaurant with high ceilings,brick walls, and a long granite bar. Ive only gone on Tuesdays or Wednesdays because it is pasta special night. 10 pasta dishes to choose from, from Seafood Fra Diavloa and a seafood medley to Chicken Picatta and Marsala to your tradional raviolis lasagnas and parmeseans. Pasta special comes with a large salad. I usually get the medley which comes with swordfish or salmon, mussels, and calamari in a lemon butter herb broth with linguine. This is a great place to go for dinner. The food is excellent. It is not your 5 star downtown Boston Restaurant with a bunch of weird items on the menu. It traditional with a few flares and is proabably one of the best Italian Restaurants in the Weymouth, Braintree, Hingham Area for food quality, taste and cost. Id go here with family for a birthday or even for dinner with my wife. Although I would not consider it to be a fancy night out.

I was hesitant about going in the first time. I always have a hard time believing there could be. Good italian restaurant in a strip mall. After stepping fot inside all my preconcieved notions were thrown out. The atmosphere is wonderful. But even btter then that is the food. My favorite dish is the Veal Saltamboca. On weekends there is usually a wait, but the bar will make the time pass by. The staff is also top notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes Italian food.

Just had the most pleasant and delicious lunch at Ecco. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the service was excellent, the bread was hot and fresh, the food was perfect. I got the eggplant parmesan and my husband got the crab cake sandwich. Both were excellent. And the prices are ridiculously affordable. We will be back often to this great little place.

First time and last, ordered lobster ravioli and got 2 thats right just 2 single ravioli swimming in what tastes like milk and parmesan cheese, horrible had thrown it in the trash just like the $23.00 it cost. Please take this off your menu you obviously do not know how to make this

very good food and service. great place if looking to avoid the 93 into boston. my husband and i try to stop in once a month for a break. not a big wine drinker but they have an excellent list.,

Was told that out of state licences were not accepted in Massachusetts. Waitress was very rude and disrespectful from the start. Bad experience overall, would give negative stars if possible :(

Great food and bevies! My fiance and I like going on Thursday nights which is "Lobster night". Their vodka sauce is amazing. Everyone that we have dealt with are also very nice.

The parking lot is always packed so I guess I expected more. Nothing amazing just okay Italian food. I would go back but I do not expect anything to be amazing.
