The SERVERS LIE and the MANAGERS are COLD-HEARTED money-grubbers! After ordering apps. my party realized that there were Combo. meals which could include apps. We asked our server if we could change our order to include the apps. in a combo meal and he said "Yes". Dinner was ordered, eaten, and the bill came with every item ordered listed individually. We asked the server to change the bill to reflect what we had ordered and he said that "we had already eaten the food, he couldnt change it". I asked him to bring a manager over who said the same thing: Since we had eaten the food we had been given (which in some way was more than we wouldve gotten with the combo) he wouldnt change our bill. A second manager was called who didnt want to listen to what I had to say, and called the server over who LIED about our order. Needless to say (although I said it very clearly to the manager) We WILL NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN! I have never been so poorly treated as a customer! Do not go here if you want a pleasant dining experience. If I could"ve given this place no stars, I wouldve.

I recently drove by and said wow! great chow in abington, I have to come here one day. So MOTHERS DAY 5/9/10 I booked a reservavation for 12 there.We get there were sat down at our table. the waitter took our order for drinks and left. not once did she asked if it was our first time or gave us any instruction on what is available for us. we got up and start serving. the food option was very little. it was very messing, and anything that was fried was dry and oily. my husband who loves sushi was very disapointed that it was very small, wasnt really sushi he said. little option to choose from. after our meal, we wanted some desert, wish we was told that they dont have any. this place suckkkkkkkkkkk. i was so embarrased that i took this many people there, on MOTHERS DAY. I COULD OF JUSTED ORDER FROM ANY LOCAL CHINESE RESTAURANT. AND WOULD OF BEEN HAPPIER.

Food is usually good but thats where it ends. I went to eat in there for the first time, I usually do take out, when upon getting my menu it smelled like a dirty dish rag. Telling the server that didnt seem to be of concern to them. Now Im wondering how the line is wiped down or is it that same rag? As per usual they can barely understand you and you can barely understand them, so ordering was a challenge. Dinner arrived short two items, which can be forgiven since I dont think Ive ever had a short order with my take out. Service was horrible, the server never came back to the table, I never got a refill or even offered one. I recommend this place for take out but dont expect to be served well if you eat in. The food got them the two stars.

I agree this is the worst Chinese restaurant I have eaten. The miso soup smelled like dead fish. I returned it. The curry beef was smothered with un cooked pea pods and green peppers. It left me wondering "where is the beef?!". After removing most of the vegetables my dish was less than half the portion. And then no rice was served with my meal. I asked the waitress, do Chinese eat this dish without rice. She said no. Yet I was left with my dish for good 10 min without rice. I had to pay extra for rice. I think I just got "Shanghai-ed. After my meal, when I went to pay. The bill for the curry beef was more than what was listed on the menu. Double check your bill I am disappointed.

I have to let the managers know how to run their business. No. 1, Try. They dont seam to care if you eat here or not. No personality at all. they seem mad that people are in the restaurant. There has never been good service. The manager, who looks like he is the keeper of a prison (creepy dude) must be related to someone who is family. He wouldnt last to seconds in the restaurant business if some one didnt give him the job. They have all earned their 3.1. Sad, so much potential. Have they giving up. Perhaps the dad ran the place and all was good, but then his children didnt want to work or be happy. Its obvious they hate their jobs. again, so sad. place would be a gold mine if run differently.

Great Chow in Abington has steadily gone downhill, their take out is precooked warmed up crap, the more I complain the less they do. Five take out orders very small grissly meat, burnt ribs, I will never go back there. When i go in to order i bring to their attention that my last takeout was very dis appointing and explain why, when I get home my new order has something wrong, small chewy meat, Congratulations Great Chow youve joined the rest of the Chinese places that suck too.....

Went out to eat with my Husband, my cousin Matty and his girlfriend Christene after going to see Maureen Hancock the medium. We were so in shock from hearing from love ones from the other side, that it would be hard to ruin are time at Great Chow after such a great show at another location down the street in Abington, MA. But the chicken Moo sho was not that tasting and the waitress was nothing to give praise! I wont be in a rush to eat there again, if I do again?

Terrible!!! The place is Super Expensive compared to other Chinese take-out spots and the food is even worse. Their won-ton is filled with random veggies, the broth has no taste and their wontons have no meat in them. Did I mention they all come apart when you try to pick them up? Their chicken noodle soup is just like eating boiled noodles with water. Very dissatisfied never eating there again!!!

I went here with my fiancée on a Friday night and the place was clean and had a great atmosphere which most Chinese places lack. It wasnt very busy but the bar side had a good amount of people and the booths were mostly filled. The food was delicious and the portions were huge (we each got a dinner combo and had lots of leftovers). Service was quick and polite. We will definitely be coming back!

The food and service where top notch. Menu is simple, prices are affordable for someone on a budget. Place looked very fancy, nice, and clean. Staff was nice enough to make an off menu item for me. Overall is a great place to go by yourself or with friends, while being nice for a date. Though based on others reviews service and food is hit and miss pending on what time and day you come.

Ive been so disappointed with their food lately. I get angry when I pay money and my food isnt cooked enough or is burnt. I usually order hot and sour soup but decided on pupu platter. It was cold. The substitutions I asked for werent correct and they gave more of what I dont like. Very disappointing. The soup hasnt been good at all lately

Its hit or miss there. My lunch special consisted of hot, crunchy fried rice with cold broccoli and beef. Notice I didnt say beef and broccoli? Thats only because there was a little beef that got mixed in with the broccoli somehow. Other days have been fair to good. At least the service is consistently BAD!
