ya the food is okay, but customer service is the name of the game. Just dont get caught taking to the owner. He will size you up and cut you down faster than he expects you to solve math problems on the fly, then go on tooting his own horn for another 20 minutes or so hardly allowing you a word in edgewise. I could hardly focus on my bland lo mein and flat draft beer in between the tireless rants from the owner telling me how much the individual pieces of wood cost to build his new bar ($2300) or how many degrees he has in mathematics (he has 4). Look, its understandable for any good business owner to be proud of his establishment and want to get the word out about how much of an honor it is to be recognized by the small niche market association of crappy rural restaurants of america, yet the best way to do so is not to continously badger a new customer with this imformation. Especially after making said customer feel like crap because you are not impressed with his educational or professional credentials. The last thing i want when i get chinese food is stomac ache so bad that it brings you to the point of vomitting BEFORE you eat your food. Being a good buisiness man entails knowing when your offending your customers. And heres a math problem for him, my meal cost $20.23 and I left two tens, two dimes, and three pennies, what percentage did i tip him?

I have to begin by confessing that I am new to sushi. I have only had the stuff they package up at Hannaford. So I thought would surprise my wife, who loves sushi, by putting in a take-out order. The service was excellent, very friendly people. It took a good 20-25 minutes to prepare my order, which was fine with me because it seems that the sushi chefs take a great deal of pride in their work. The sushi was, quite simply, amazing. It was presented in an artful fashion, and was simply delicious. Im not sophisticated enough in enjoying sushi yet to try octopus, so most of the rolls I ordered were salmon, tuna, or shrimp. I also very much enjoyed their cooked scallop rolls with a well-made spicy mayonnaise on top. It was fantastic, and has sparked my interest in trying different types of sushi in the future. Grabbed a few of their take-out menus on my way out, so that I can maybe take my wife there for a date night in the future. Either way, I will definitely be back. Highly recommended, deserves more than five starts for the quality of the food and the great service.

I ordered from here and the was a FEATHER in our food! A RAW UNCOOKED FEATHER! I contacted the establishment, and they argued about a full refund, even though the meal was ruined and salmonella bacteria could have been contaminating the meal, and it should not have been eaten, they did not want to refund the full price of the meal. Then they didnt end up offering ANY refund because they "forgot" and then said they "dont know how to refund a card" and even though the same lady with broken English answers every time we order she said"[she] was not a full time employee and could not do anything for us" and the "manager" would contact us. Well 2 weeks later, no call, no refund, we call to remind them about this and she says "yeah, the slip is still hanging up here" meaning that the most they were going to do is hang a slip up for the manager to deal with when he felt like it. I will NOT be ordering from this place again, and its their loss because we were regular customers.

We stopped to peek into Oriental Delight on Central Ave in Dover (436) and to say we were surprised is an understatement. A large sushi bar with new sushi cases and many bar seats and tables is to the left of the entrance (to the right is the Chinese restaurant area). The cases were stocked with many types of fish. The sushi chef greeted us warmly and immediately offered to answer any questions. We looked through the fairly creative sushi menu-finding conventional (Hamachi, yellowtail) as well as new rolls (Futomaki Special, eel, avocado, cucumber, gourd, burdock root, oshinko, inari, and tobiko). The sushi chef is happy to take requests and told us that many of their specials are actually the result of peoples special requests that became popular with other diners-social sushi! The sushi was fantastic, fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was also great. This sushi spot is not too be missed if you happen to be passing near Dover, NH.

In more then one This was an excellent dinning experience from the moment I walked in the door. The staff is genuinely polite and helpful from the host to the owner, something rarely seen in……well anywhere these days. The service was quick despite it being a busy Friday night. The food was extremely good- having sampled the crab rangoon and general’s chicken in addition to my own dinner I would say that it is a good bet that no matter what you order you will be happy. The sushi was the best I have had in years! I had began to believe that you had to leave the state to get good sushi and a good price but I could not have been more wrong. The well laid sampling was at perfect temperature and the quality of the fish was without question excellent. My only regret after eating here was not doing so sooner.

This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I ordered a meal from oriental delight. The woman on the phone told me to pick it up or it will take 40 to 50 minutes for me to get my food. How rude she was. I even told her l had no car to go out! Then the woman said it would take 40 minutes for the delivery. After an hour, the food did not come. I called back. The woman said she put my order into another category and that I need to pick it up. She apologized and I told her I am no longer interested in my food. She hanged up the phone rudely.

This place has great Chinese food but not so much when it comes to sushi unfortunately. But weve gone back there number of times as their Chinese dishes are very fresh, isnt greasy like others weve been to and the staff is also polite and friendly. One thing about this location is a great view of Central Ave with the large windows BUT can get cold near it during winter. Service overall is great and doesnt take long at all to get food. It is definitely busier towards end of the week and on weekends.
