Parking: It is located right in front of the joint. Free after 5 pm and many spaces. Appearance: Cozy. Inside is cozy and quaint. There is a small patio out front where you can watch traffic or people if you would like. Inside wasnt exactly the cleanest Ive seen. The decor is unique and adds a lot to the ambiance. Sound: Quiet. I went on a Wednesday evening and there were no crowds. Just a couple of regular customers making small talk. Comfort: A tad cold. I went in the winter time and it was freezing outside. A couple of tvs played the oldies which was really enjoyed by my father and me. Booths were large and had plenty of room. Service: Friendly. Its a stand up, order, sit down kinda joint. Meals were made quickly. Staff was very friendly and joked around with each other. It felt like being at a family dinner even if the family wasnt our own. Food: Delicious. Best part of the night. Everything was served hot and savory. I ordered pulled pork and dressed it up how I wanted it. It tasted amazing! Both my mom and my dad very much enjoyed their meals as well. The sweet potato fries were to die for! My only complaint was the ice tea served. My mom and I both thought it tasted like dirty water. Price: Excellent. Very reasonable especially for the amount of food served. Overall: I recommend coming to this sit-down relax joint at least once. Service is polite, food is delicious, prices are decent, and you wont leave hungry. Sometimes I am over critical of places I attend to eat. I am paying for a service and I expect to get it.

This is a BBQ joint in the former spot of a much beloved local Mexican restaurant. Westminster has a dearth of BBQ places. This place has very little competition, and you can tell. It carries a Texas rodeo theme with a local flair, Carroll county has a legit rodeo tradition so props for paying homage to that. The service style could be considered q&c, you get a menu, order at the register, pay, then food is served to the table by the cashier. The prices look great, but the portions are just ok, as is the food quality. There is a self serve condiment station that was clean at lunch, but I could easily imagine getting nasty at busy times. We tried in total the pit turkey, the brisket, and the pulled pork, it is all served right (no sauce) but the turkey was dry, the pork not quite hot and the brisket pretty fatty, nothing tasted fully smoked. In a good way, it reminded me of beefalo Bobs or the canopy from back in the day as a pit place that does Q, but for the price I think even a chain like Mission is putting out better Q. All of the sides we tried were an afterthought, the fries were good and the family size fed us. The bacon Mac was light on bacon and it was kinda just chopped and thrown in. The sandwich rolls looked like they were store bought potato rolls, which isnt a dig, I like potato rolls, but iiwii. If you are in Westminster and craving Q it is a good spot, but it is not good enough to seek out on its own.

In Westminster for business and found Lone Star through Yelp - and so glad I did. Dont try to find it *on* E Main Street, as its behind the street front stores (back side of block on the public parking lot). I had the Brisket Platter with fries and the bacon mac n cheese as sides. It came with corn bread. Everything was outstanding, as other reviews indicate. Nice staff, cool Texas BBQ ambience, and delicious food. Updating previous reviews, they now appear to sell bottled beer here. Seek this place out if youre anywhere close to Westminster -- yummy!

My partner (who smokes meats) loved the brisket, I had the pulled chicken which is not what theyre known for, but mine was excellent - flavorful, tender and juicy. Great service and very accommodating to the kids. They do BYOB, but dont serve at the store. The dishes looked juicy and delicious and everyone was pleased. The kids had the hotdog, while the adults all had barbecue (except me who had the delicious pulled pork).

I just moved to westminster and I was looking for a great BBQ joint and I just found it! If you enjoy great Brisket, Pork, Chicken etc. Peach cobbler, beans. They are all great! The ribs are rubbed with a great spice mix. Championship quality. The squealing pig sandwich is probably the best BBQ sandwich Ive ever had! And Ive had BBQ in NC. SC. TX. GA. They are doing it right!!!

My usual order is brisket, fries, coleslaw, green beans. Cant be beat. Sauce can be a little sweet, but you can get it on the side if you dont like that style. The brisket doesnt need sauce, to be honest. Desserts are great as well when they have them, especially the blondies.

Ribs, pulled pork, brisket are really good. Sauce is pretty good too but you have to ask for it. I cant get enough iced tea. Reasonable prices for the area. Maybe 10 tables...

Great restaurant for Bar BQ. Simple country settings, locally owned, owner on premises. Owner allows BYOB, so do so... Not fancy, but great carroll county local creation!

Good BBQ for this area. I recommend the lunch bowl. Portion size of mac & cheese is small for the price.
