Went here last night. Great food, but horrible service. Our party of 3 walked in and were told by the host that there was open seating. We went upstairs and sat down. There was nobody around us, expect a server cleaning up tables. We sat for a few minutes waiting for him to take our order but the server ignored us and continued cleaning. When we went back down stairs the hostess told us the loft was close. We still werent seated, the only other open booth had a wet caution sign and still had water and trash on the floor. So we chose a booth towards the front of the restaurant. They were the only 2 booths left. Just as we sit down the hostess informs us that those 2 seats were also closed... We begin to get up and another server? tells us to just stay there and "someone will take care of you". A few minutes pass and our original server told us that the other booth was now open and clean and asked us to go to that table. We refused, as it was so much trouble to get a table in the first place. Our order was taken by another server. 10 minutes pass and the hostess (who was right next to us the whole time and on her phone) gave us more menus and said she wasnt sure if we had even gotten menus yet. We laughed and told her we had already ordered. Even if we didnt have menus yet, it took her 10 minutes for that thought to even pass her mind. We finally received our food, and my friends fries were cold. She asked the server to heat them up. When she got them back they still werent hot. They were the same fries, the cook just refried them. They were dark brown /black and hard. When we left, we paid with our cards and were going to leave a cash tip. The server asked why we didnt tip when he saw the tabs that we had signed. This was really rude, why would the ask us why we didnt tip. My friend told him she felt the customer service was bad. He smiled and walked away before she could explain anything about our horrible experience. We did leave a 3 dollar cash tip. We were getting up from the table when our server said "Yall can keep that dollar". This place has THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. My friend got her money refunded, Im still waiting for mine to refund. avoid this place at all costs!!!

Growing up in the South like many of you, Im a bit of a barbecue critic. Ive been to the Old Glory restaurant a few times and I dropped by their stall at the BBQ festival. I have to say its certainly is on par with all of the other Competitors in the sacred art of BBQ. Their staff was really friendly, they have great happy hour specials and a long rotating list of beers on tap. They stay fairly busy but if you want to drop in with very little wait time I suggest going around 9pm. They play country music in the restaurant but if thats not your thing its no big deal it isnt too loud and you cab easily talk over it without disturbing the table next to you. If that is your thing well, then youll feel right at home. Thw BBQ is served in large portions, and i really struggle to think of anything bad to say. Theyre priced about the same as every other restaurant on M Street, but for my money Old Glory all the way.

Costillas feas!!! Pedí de 8 horas de cocción y estaban resecas y ni una salsa era BBQ, aguadas con sabores diferentes... Nada recomendable!!! Prueben Dallas Ribs NY ¡esas son costillas! Ugly Ribs!!! I asked for the 8 hours slow cooked and they were dry, there are not BBQ sauce, some with different flavors but not good ... Not recommended !!! Try Dallas Ribs NY, Those are ribs!

This place is a shell of its former self. Our server should be ashamed for recommending the brisket, which did not taste at all like itd seen a BBQ - no smoke, and, for that matter, no flavor; yeah, it was moist, but so what. Our ribs were overcooked. Our sons corndog was soggy. And our waiter seemed to have something hed rather do than serve tables (seemed to be just watching college FB on the TVs). Such a shame how downhill this place seems to have gone. Maybe I shouldve known something was up when I was told they dont stamp the tables anymore. Used to love it, but dont think Ill be back.

Old Glory is part sports bar and part barbeque place; Ive only ever eaten there so Im reviewing the latter. The ribs are fantastic at their best -- true southern quality -- but they were a bit burnt one time, so quality isnt 100% consistent. The pulled pork sandwiches deliver consistently, though. You really cant go wrong there. The late night menu (after 11ish) is $5 an item for various appetizer-size items that are very good but sometimes greasy enough to make you feel a bit gross. Old Glory tends to be busy during the day but is empty and fairly quiet in the late evening.

Food was edible which is about it. Nothing special - below average BBQ and below average sauces. Dishes served were not as described on the menu (ex. BBQ uesadillas were supposed to be pulled chicken instead it was a tired grilled chicken breast cut into pieces). They were out of several menu items and the menu was wrong in several places. The service was slow. It was cheaper than other Georgetown restaurants. Certainly a college bar - its hard to mess up pouring a PBR into a mason jar. Will Not Go back.

Having worked here I can confidently say that this place is bad. Holes in the floor, walls, and ceiling. Rust on equipment that makes food. Mold and grime where mold and grime should not be. Filth everywhere. As an employee I was treated just fine, the people were cool, but the actual quality of the product is very bad and the building is in shambles. The roof top bar is neat and the drinks are pretty good, so if youre looking to drink its okay, but past that Id go to one of the many other BBQ places in D.C.

Ill save everyone a lot of time. Get their ribs. Thats it. Nothing else. I tried everything, the corn bread, the brisket, the turkey...its all bland and just....sad. Then I got to the ribs, and I cant figure why they waste their time with anything else. They could just do the bar and ribs and if they didnt give anyone a choice and made them just eat the ribs I guarantee 90% of customers would walk away thrilled! GET THE RIBS- dont get anything else, you will be disappointed.
