Great place, always come qith friends and eat there , I love theyre horchata but...... tonight was not great for me and my friends We felt unwelcome We got there around 8:10pm and ordered our food, great costumer service, young girl and a young Spanish guy, couldnt find out theyre name, awesome services and very friendly Once we sit down we started to notice that one young guy (african american ) was cleaning the lobby but at the same time he was putting the chairs on the tables , even right next to us like, theyre ready to close , I honestly felt like he was kicking us out and we werent the only one, couple people left and other came afrietame the Door and left right away, a couple asked the young guy if they were closing, I dont know what he said n they left. A family of 2 ladies n 2 young girl they had to put the chairs down to sit down and eat, why would costumers have to go through that ? I work in a restaurant and thats rude !! It was till 8:30 pm, a whole 30 minutes to close and it was a line and busy I think that was unnecessary

When Rio first opened it was amazing! They had great food, great service, a happy staff and reasonable prices. Now that their "honeymoon phase" is over there are not as on top of things as they used to be. Employee turnover seems to be a problem. Every time we go to lunch as a staff there are always new faces which is making services extremely slow. The food isnt as consistent anymore. Some employees dont know the menu and do not make the item the way that is has been made in the past. There is one particular employee a young girl who has been there since the opening. She used to be pleasant and happy now she looks miserable and has a terrible attitude. It definitely resonates to the guests. Rio I am so disappointed in you, I loved you guys so much and had tons of my patients going over to try you out and now you service is terrible, your staff is miserable and the place is often times dirty with trash on the floor. :(

After waiting at the to-go desk, watching countless customers get helped before we were even acknowledged, 15 mins go by we were asked if we were waiting for something and told them we had an online order. Which had been sitting on the counter the whole time we were there. Once we got home we found out the brown bag we thought had our chips and salsa which i paid almost 4$ for was not even in our order. I do not recommend this place and will not being going back thanks to this experience. Oh and the food was okay, not bad.

This one is pretty bare bones. If you like do-it-yourself places for Mexican food this is fine. It looks like a nice restaurant from the outside, but dont be fooled you need to order in a line and then take your own food to the table. Food quality wise it was good, just surprising to walk in and see it is more like a cafeteria than a restaurant.

Best chain Mexican/Latin food Ive had to date. Didnt feel sick after my meal, you could tell everything was fresh, even the strawberry lemonade. Ordered tacos, delicious tortilla, almost seemed a blend of corn and white flower. Generous portions, friendly staff, fast service too. Definitely will go back. Looking forward to trying their tamales.

I was disappointed in my meal today at cafe rio in Waldorf . I tried the chicken burrito all I tasted was burnt chicken flavor in my mouth. Fist time I tried the burrito not happy. Went to get some tea both containers regular tea and raspberry was water down both taste just like water.

Awesome. Handmade tortillas cooked in front of you with handmade ingredients, nice atmosphere, huge portions, reasonable price, vegetarian options alongside pork, beef, and chicken. Chipotle-style select your ingredients ordering with self-serve drinks and clear your own table.
