So I recently attended this restaurant in hopes that it would provide a great experiance on my anniversery. This place did quite the opposite. At first glance this place looks great, tables outside, nice feel, not too bad. So we sat down and waited for 12 minutes for our waitress to come by (only half the tables were seated so we thought it was a little rediculous especially during peak time). Then when she did come to grace us with her presence, she didnt even acknowledge us and say hello! How bad is that! It also seemed like every waiter or waitress we encountered over the night was about the equivalent to the worst server at any restaurant you could think of, being a server for a few years I know how one should act in this setting and this place did just the opposite. We ordered the food and what do you know, it came back cooked incorrectly so by that time the bread had filled us up ( about an hour and a half into the dinner) and we were pretty much ready to go. The deserts were dry too (I had the apple tart). Would not go to this restaurant. Save $100 bucks and go to McDonalds for better service.

NEVER have I experienced such terrible service in my life. Stopped in for a coffee and both the waiter and the manager (Carolina and Dale Dixon) truly put the pathetic into apathetic when it came to service. The mind boggling level of rudeness my family and I were shown came out of left field, I have to hope that it was borne out of racism or some other form of prejudice and thus was an extraordinary leap from the usual experience that others seem to have had. We ordered a latte and a a piece of cake, the former was served in a paper cup and and the cake chucked in front of with no silverware, when the utensils finally did arrive they were plastic and unceremoniously dumped on the counter along with the comment "you´ll have to eat it with your hands". The only reason we paid was because my aunt did not want to make a scene. This experience really put a dampener on our entire day and if there were negative stars I would gladly award it to them.

We had high expectations because Chef Westermanns Michelin rating, but one thing after another resulted in an overall poor experience. He is only the restaurants consultant and it was clear by the end of the night that he does not have much of a presence there. 1. Our table was surrounded by fruit flies trying to get at the wine. When we asked to switch tables, the waiter didnt seem shocked at all about the bugs and even tried to chuckle it off. Switching tables didnt help - we were sitting inside so this shouldnt have been a problem. 2. Getting refills on our glasses of wine was almost more work than it was worth. 3. Service was spotty and inconsistent. Im all for enjoying an evening without a waiter hovering over the table, but great service recognizes the key moments to be available. This was fair at best. 4. Food was delicious, but overpriced. If I go back, it would be to order the cheese tray and a glass a wine to enjoy outside.

This is a great location, right next to the white house. The food was excellent as well, but rather expensive. $18 for a hamburger is more than many are willing to pay, no matter how high quality it is. My only complaint is that I felt invisible. After we were seated (inside table) and received our food, nobody came by to refill our drinks. I saw with an empty cup for about 10 minutes. My father ordered a beer from one of the waiters.. 5 minutes went by, nothing. He grabbed another waiter and asked for the beer.. 5 minutes went by, nothing. Finally out of the blue, a 3rd waiter appeared with his beer. I think if you sit outside, youll have a much easier time being on their radar. All of the inside tables seemed to be ignored. I will go there again, but Ill sit outside.

Very pretty little place but no Italian Rex wine that you could order by the glass and the caesar salad was miserable. I think they just used mayonnaise for the dressing as it did not have a hit of garlic taste in it at all.(or anchovy) I told the waiter and he brought me some more on the side and it was every bit as bland. The croutons looked and tasted like they were store bought at Walgreens and the lettuce consisted primarily of white lettuce. A place like this should know better. Prearing a good caesar salad is the most basic of chef skills. I wont go back to a place that is prepared to put out food like that.

Grossly overpriced, poor service. My guests and I spent over $200 on dinner and didnt even get the courtsey of out water glasses being refilled. Not to mention that the food was not that great. The appetizer flatbread was excessively greasy, the escargots were unimpressive, the crab cakes was left half untouched as it was found wanting. In their defense, the veggies and mushrooms were tasty, my aunt found the salmon tasteless, my little cousin however enjoyed her steak. The desserts were not good. This was a Waste of $230.

My family took me to Cafe du Parc to celebrate my birthday. I was blown away by the excellent service we received! They had decorated a table for the occasion, and the restaurant even gave me a birthday card signed by the staff. I was a little disappointed they didnt have a steak frites entree with filet mignon (only with NY strip, which I dont particularly like) but I just ordered the filet and our table split a few orders of fries. The food was good, but the exceptional service is what really stood out.

This place is a D.C. favorite of ours, especially when the weather is nice and you can sit curbside across from the White House! All of the food is delicious but my favorite is the Quiche Lorraine--the best Ive had! The Salad Nicoise and lobster varieties are delicious and pretty to look at. William Rabil wonderfully paired a wine for our table that was lovely. And afterwards a single malt at the Round Robin bar....a lovely experience again!

We stopped by the historic Willard for coffee and noticed this little café, just darling. So we decided to get a quick lunch. We could tell that it was somewhat counter service but we didnt expect that the gentleman would hand us our two sandwiches out of the fridge and be done with it lol. I ordered the ham and Brie baguette. Had I known it wouldnt even be warm for $12.00, I would have ordered something else. Beautiful place, though.

Attended Resto Week, dinner. (2nd or 3rd time dining here) Quaint French atmosphere. (There were actually a group of French expats circling the downstairs bar, oui oui!) Highlights: 42-hr lamb entree | Beignets and chocolate torte desserts Lowlights: Expensive cost of drinks. Overall, satisfying Resto Week experience. Note to self: next time, order bottle of wine instead of individual drinks!

I went there with my friend who lives in DC, as usual I expect high standards and this place met them. I got two different meals and I would say there were good enough. The 12 oz steak was great! Its expensive and I didnt expect less but definitely worth it. On the other hand, the desserts are great which Ill go back only for the desserts tho. So far an expensive but good experience.
