After spending four excruciating hours in the bruised Peach Cafe and hate Lounge and treated like a second class citizen I will NEVER return under any circumstance. Who cares what the food is like when the taste in your mouth is rotten and bitter when you leave? As a former world traveler, I found it humorous that the staff in this little hole in the wall place in the middle of no where walked around like this was a famous café located on the Champs-Elysées in France. Maybe it’s management policy that the staff attends Buji boot camp after coming on board. If this place were located in Virginia or DC they would be forced to give you good service or intelligent people would simply not support the establishment. Overall, the attitudes of the bar staff, hostesses’ and management leaves a lot to be desired. They are rude and reminiscent of the kind of treatment you would expect at a Denny’s at 3am on a Saturday morning. The funny thing is I was actually part of the evening’s entertainment for their private event and at the end of our 4 hour performance the band asked for water. One of the ‘hostesses’ replied “I am off the clock” and walked out. We finally got a few glasses of water that had to be shared but I refused to drink from anything prepared in that place. This was typical of how the entire evening went and how we were treated by the staff. I can only imagine what the job postings would look like: “Help Wanted…No personal or Customer skills needed…Just bring your big “A” and you’re big Attitude and apply within”. With all the attitudes running around, it was hard to discern who was whom and who did what but I did manage to meet the ‘lady’ the place is named after. While fruit is the last thing that came to mind after meeting her, it became immediate apparent that she attended the same boot camp. I am not one to post a review on anything but I went home so angry last night that I feel it necessary to spare others the experience I had. If you’re contemplating visiting this place and can find it, do yourself a favor. Go to the liquor store; take the $9.50 you would spend on one small half filled glass of Vodka and Tonic served up by a Bartenderess with an attitude and get yourself a bottle of your favorite beverage. Stop by KFC and get a bucket of wings because if your an entertainer in this place you’ll get treated like crap, and don’t let the hostesses serving finger food find out your in the band! I did find one thing positive about the Peach Pit Café. The cook is a true gentleman and is worthy of being complemented. Of all the employees, Mgmt and staff we ‘dealt’ with, he was the only person who asked if we needed anything and was sincere about it! Give this gentleman a raise, fire the rest of the staff and promote him to manager please!!!

I have no complaints about the food or drinks at this establishment, but I will say that theres a thief lurking in the establishment. I went to the restaurant on Thursday, July 8, 2010 with a group of about 15 friends/fam. As of today, July 13, 2010, two of my friends credit card/VISA check card information was used in Chester, MD at a Safeway, Rite Aid, and Walgreens. This is not a coincidence that both of their check card numbers were used at the Safeway in Chester, MD and they both were guests at Peachez only a couple of days before. Neither of them reside anywhere near Chester, MD. As the victims, both of them must go to Queen Annes County, MD to file a police report since the purchases were made in Chester, MD. I am going to write a letter to the owner of Peachez Cafe and Lounge because whether theres a single employee or group of employees contributing to this unprofessionalism, this needs to be brought to the highest and handled properly and immediately. Due to this reason alone, I will not return to this establishment; however, I do hope to shine some light on this situation. Because both of them have their check cards, someone [i.e., employee(s)] is capturing the necessary numbers from check/credit cards and assisting or creating duplicate cards for others to use. BTW this is called IDENTITY THEFT and is unacceptable. SIDE NOTE: You can only use credit in the bar area. Ive never heard of this at any business establishment. This may be the fuel that is perpetuating these thieves.

I went to Peachez and I was really disappointed. The tables are really, really small, the servers, and assistant servers were not pleasant. There is no refill on the pepsi and they have the nerve to bring out a little ($.25) bottle of pepsi with a glass full of ice. They did not have the peach butter, and the crab dip appetizer was a joke. It was cold and the so-called crab was that imitation crab meat that they sprinkled on top. Now for the main dish-the menu has 4 or 5 selections for Large Dishes (I take it entree), so if you have a diverse palate you will be disappointed in the selection. The Surf N Turf seen in I think Post review is not even on the menu (yet they have a picture of the review when you walk in). I chose the Pasta ($27) and it taste the same as the cajun chicken and shrimp pasta at TGIF. Although I must say the TGIF is better and atleast TGIF adds some spice. At Peachez the pasta was overcooked and the flavors were not blended well. Note to Peachez at least use fresh chicken instead of the frozen. My boyfriend had the Seafood Platter ($31)and the crab cake taste like the frozen crab cake from Phillips and the rest of the dish was just ok..nothing to remember. Needless to say, for someone that enjoys fine dining, this is not even close! The food, service, and setting is not close to the standard of what a fine dining restuarant is and it is way over priced. Only positive was the DJ was playing some nice music.

My name is Jeff Simms my band performed on December 1st at the Peachez Cafe and Lounge. The person that posted that nasty review about Peachez Cafe on December the 2 is not true. This person is not a member of my band, I dont know this person personally and dont know why someone would say such nasty things to to destroy what Peachez has work so hard and establish this person did not have the guts to give a name in the statement. Peachez is a great environment for people to come and enjoy a night of elegance and great entertainment. This person really made me and my band that Ive work so hard to establish, look really bad I am a business man, my band does not conduct themselves in such a manner. We love to play our music, I really want to apologize to Peachez Cafe for the false opinion that someone made. Anybody that read this reveiw believe me, Peachez Cafe & Lounge has a lot of class and is a great place to go and enjoy great food and entertainment. I would like to thank Peachez Cafe for giving us the opportunity to play our music in your fine establishment and hopefully they will have us back. Thank you very much Thanks Jeff Simms

I live about 15 minutes from Peachez and I think they are a great and welcomed change to places where people call themselves dressed to go out in jeans, sweats, and hoodies. It’s an upscale crowd (men actually have belts on and their pants dont sag!) and caters more to the 30+ age group. The few times Ive been there, Ive seen an excellent poetry slam and a jazz band play. Other times Ive gone there, it’s been right after work to just unwind with a nice glass of wine at the bar. So that is all the good, heres the bad. The food is expensive for what you actually get. A friend of mine had gotten shrimp and grits and it was maybe 5 or 6 large shrimp (not jumbo as listed at $19.00). I wasnt too impressed with the crab dip ($11.00), but that might be because I have a better recipe with more lump and less cheese. Either way, my advice is this. Go for the ambiance, maybe some wine, maybe some desserts, but eat your meal at home and youll be happy.
