Longtime pastry shop in the Four Corners/Woodmoor area of Silver Spring, serving up some of the best pastries or baked goods in the DC area. I started coming to the Woodmoor Pastry Shop in 2001, to get a decent, locally made birthday cake for my grad school roommate. Since then, if its a Saturday or Sunday Im queueing up to buy weekend sweets for brunch, in particular their top-notch sticky pecan buns. The prices are more than affordable (the aforementioned sticky buns cost less $5 for 6 that coukd easily feed 12). The wait is never long and the staff is always friendly. Dont wait too long on the weekend as most of the good can be snatched up before 10 am.

Horrible experience let alone some older woman at the bakery was very rude too me over the phone and in person. You could tell she did not want to work there at all. on top of that when it comes to cakes/cupcakes it is very dull no creative effort. You might as well make your own cake at home instead of wasting Time/Money, placing an order and getting a crappy attitude when picking it up. Just go to Giant,Safeway, or another bakery.. . Very disappointed..never again will i go to this bakery.

Great local business with awesome pastries. I sometimes get cookies here and theyre awesome. I recommend peanut butter cookies or a rice crispy cookie. They have great cakes too. This places has been at Four Corners for as long as I can remember, at least a decade. You dont survive that long if you arent awesome. Theyre also super cheap. You could probably get a dozen cookies with a $5 bill.

The bakery is small but has a decent variety of baked goods. The bakery is well staffed so that people can get attended to quickly during busy times. I love their cannolis and breads. The bakery has an old-fashioned sense to it with cookies and pastries that are reminiscent of your childhood. Park in the back of the strip mall.

Incredible coffee cakes (ask for the chocolate one!), and rum buns (amazing), and made a Lightening McQueen (with little toys on top) cake for my sons birthday at a very affordable price. Pleasant staff and wonderful baked goods. Cant recommend it enough.

Yum yum yum yum! The Cookie Monster would tear this place to shreds even if it were a discerning connoisseur. The ladies who run this shop are patient and kind. But the bear claws taste nothing like bear. ;)
