be careful with these people at Tolchester marina, they will rip you off big time, I asked them to make me a bracket for my autohelm,7"x1.1/2", they made it out of scrap stainless steel, and a very rough job to boot, I was leaving the next day and needed it, when I went to pay for it , they told me it was$560, yes thats right,five hundred and sixty dollars, when I said I thought it was extortionate, and had they made a mistake, the man with the rediculous pony tail said they charge by the hour,and that was it, my five year old grandson could have made it in half an hour. the auto helm cost me $450, and that piece of scrap $560, work it out for yourselves, use these crooks at your peril.

Spent this weekend docked on J (Jeckyll) pier. Sea grass clogged intakes and pier electric was spotty (30 amp). Carl was very helpful, but this needs attention. Do not stay on J. Shanty Bar was cute and fun; food and bar service were great as they were packed. Views are amazing. Careful swimming as the nettles have arrived.

I have visited the marina a few times now. Staff has been very friendly and willing to accommodate. Being a manager at another marina I would give them an excellent rating and refer customers leaving my marina to this great little spot if they were headed that way.

Great location. Recently renovated and looks fabulous. Very friendly staff.If I had to point out one negative it would be the wait at the bar on a busy weekend; couple that with not being allowed to have your own drinks, makes for a thirsty customer.

Great marina. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We visited mid week for an overnight stay. The marina was quiet but the tilki looked great. Facilities were clean. I understand it gets busy and exciting on Friday and Saturday.

My wife , kids and myself. Go here atleast every other weekend during the season. Mrs Cathy , her family and the employees are great. Never had a bad time there. We like to refer to it as Cancun Tolchester. Janet & Ray

Docks are in bad shape. They place orange cones around the rotten boards instead of replacing them. Place, overall is poorly kept and kind of stinky. No comparison to great oaks marina about 5 miles away.

Love the view, love the music, love the beach.....dont love lack of bartenders, the way the food is served (flies everywhere and they make you stand there and wait).

Transient slips are new. Transients and beach bar customers treated well. Slipholders... not so well. Fuel and pump pumpout are convenient to the Bay.
