I have been going to Baja Fresh Rockville for many years now and I have never been disappointed. There are just so many things on the Menu and they have recently added many new Salsas. My favorite item is the Burrito Ultimo and Mango Salad with the plethora of free Salsa and Chips! This restaurant in, particular has a great atmosphere for kids and families. The staff has been consistent for the past couple of years and is very friendly. They keep the restaurant clean and neat.

Put in a catered order the day before. They confirmed the address via a second call. They were a half hour late and what we received was not very fresh. The guacamole exposed to the air had turned black and the quesadillas were solid as a rock. Plus there were not enough chips for the amount of quac we had ordered. The rest of the food was lukewarm at best. Very disappointing for a $500 meal.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was very dirty on our only 2 visits. The floor was a mess (we even saw a cockroach), the high chairs had food left over from previous customers, and the staffs uniforms were all stained and dirty. The food was ok but nothing to get excited about. We will not go back. We recommend you go somewhere else in the village for food.

The salsa bar is their thing and they do it well! The steak and shrimp rice bowl is my thing and it always looks better than it tastes which is bland. The prices are a little high (a couple slices of skirt steak chopped small and 3 shrimp with rice, beans , zucchini, corn, salsa, cabbage, and 3 slices of avocado costs almost 10 bucks).

I ordered "vegetable" burrito and I got beans with grilled onions and peppers only. I asked for the whole wheat tortilla, they were out. I ordered a side kale salad and got iceberg lettuce. I sent it back, they added red cabbage on top, looking confused. This meal was not worth $9.

Salsa verde was watery with no substance and tasted funny. The fish and shrimp in the tacos was not fresh at all. The beans tasted funny. Overall not fresh. Bland. Will not return. Hopefully they can improve their quality control.

Food is average at best, a little expensive and the salsa bar completely sucks out loud. Little tiny cups and flavorless salsa. The hot was barely mild. I would only go back if this was the only option for food within 15 miles.

Staff were a bunch of jokers, asked the guy at the cash about the menu. He seemed confused, and out of it. Ordered a burrito, could only eat 1/2 of it.
