The guy who said the food smelled like chemicals was spot on, I just want to add that it tastes like them too. I should have left when I drank the water and it had the flavor of dirty gym socks. The salmon was inedible, at least it was paper thin with a giant wad of rice. I could be spoiled because Im used to eating nigiri from Sushi King and Sushi Sono where he fish is oily and thick with the rice being but an afterthought... Anyway, I for one will never eat here again.

Maybe it was because we ordered out but the sushi was unimpressive. We had spicy tuna and California, nothing fancy but they were the size and taste of grocery store sushi. The calamari was flavorless. The fried rice was alright, not bad, but overpriced for a $10 small container. Miso soup lacked flavor as well. Overall it was OK but definitely not worth the price tag.

Very friendly service. I was on my way to food lion to get things to make dinner when my girlfriend suggested we try some sushi. We ordered the Treasure Island, Jalapeño yellowtail and gyoza to start. Quickly devoured those items and after a hand roll and special roll we were very satisfied. The sushi was fresh and sake was hot. Definitely would go back for round 2

They have a very delicious miso soup. I highly recommend what they call the tartar martini, its under the sushi appetizers. The staff is really friendly and will chat with patrons if they like. The only thing I didnt like the sunomono. The vinegar was very dark and had an almost balsamic taste, and was mostly octopus, where Im used to more soft kinds of fish.

The place to get Sushi. We mostly do carry out, but eat in is fantastic. Great quality ingredients, very fresh and creative recipes. This place does both simple and complex well, which isnt always the case for a smaller sushi restaurant. The interior is smaller and more intimate than some of the other local places. Staff is friendly.

Very good service and attractive atmosphere - best dining option in the area. Reasonable prices and good quality. Fresh ingredients and clean well maintained establishment - actual tatami style low tables if you wish. Standard American tables if you dont. House sake very nice. Recommend the shrimp and vegetable tempura.

Restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Staff is friendly. The food is fine but not outstanding and certainly not worth the prices charged. The fact that they charge for soda refills is a huge turn-off for me (who still charges for refills??). There are far better options for Japanese restaurants in the area.

The servers are very nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. I would go here again but giving it only 3 stars due to my disapointment with the lettuce wraps. Was just a can of mixed carrots and peas with some centimeter sized cubes of chicked. Seasoned with a bottle of hot sauce. I would never order this again.

This is a great place for sushi. I consider this 1 of only 3 sushi places I go to in Anne Arundel for outstanding sushi. I tried the one in Crofton because of the reviews I read and was disappointed. The service and the atmosphere were fine but the sushi was not as great as Hanas.

This restaurant is one of my local favorites! The people who run the place are super friendly and their food is always delicious :) I go there at least once a week with my fiance. Its a tiny little restaurant, but in a lovely way.

Awful. The fish on the sushi lunch smelled of chemicals and was slimey. The dressing on the seaweed salad was loaded with sugar. The wait staff hovered over me staring like the twins in "The Shining". Be afraid... Very afraid.

Ive been there enough for the owner/employees to recognize me and everyone is friendly and I never leave hungry/dissatisfied. The special rolls are where this place can shine. Passion roll is among my favorites.
