Since changing jobs to the area 2 years ago, Ive gotten 1-2 bagels a month. Good shop. They upped their pricing in the last year, I guess they arent doing so well, so it was now 4.73 for a bagel with cream cheese and bacon. It was a lot, but not much more than every other place; worth it for the convenience in location to my office. Now theyve got the price up to just under 6 bucks for the same thing. The bagel is good but not 6 bucks good... I find the pricing does fluctuate depending on who takes your order. They are really nice people. However, I liken this to getting punched by a really nice guy who regrets it afterward.

I love Bagel Works itself, their food is great, however after the experience I had today I will never return to the Hunt Valley Bagel works. This morning I ordered food and the cashier took my money but only gave me the change portion of my change back, I then looked at the change she gave me and thought back how much did I really give her, Im pretty sure she owes me money. By the time I processed this she had already stuck the extra money in her tip jar. Im not one to usually make a big fuss on these things, but this is BAD CUSTOMER service.

Bagel Works is incredible. Their bagels are outstanding, and this comes from an avid bagel lover. They might have the best everything bagel Ive ever had, its a close race between them and a no-name deli in Manhattan. Even so, they have delicious oatmeal with fresh fruit if youre looking to be healthy, and their sausage/egg/cheese bagel is unrivaled. The ladies of Bagel Works will make you feel at home and are easy on the eyes. Theres really very little to complain about here. Go visit them and getchyoself a bagel, you wont be disappointed.

This morning I went to Bagel Works and enjoyed my bagel but not the service. The staff was not friendly and borderline rude. The person who was handing out the to go orders was annoyed that I wouldnt push through a group of people to walk to the other end of the counter to get my bagel. It meant she had to walk a few feet to hand it to me. I guess sometimes you just have go a few extra feet to take care of your customers! I know it was busy, but thats a good thing if you want to continue to have a job. Ill take my business elsewhere.

Very popular with locals and nomadic business people. Food is prepared well and service is friendly, great, and quick. Prices are a throwback to affordable times. There is nothing spectacular or innovative about the food or menu. Everything is perfectly solid. Not too loud. Not too crowded. Not trendy, pretentious, or gourmet. Just a great balance of comfort food and coziness that you can rely on.

Stopped in for a to-go order and had high hopes. Dining area is new, clean and has a nice design. The staff was nice, fast, and friendly. My breakfast bagel was simple but very tasty. Opens early too! I can see this place easily becoming a staple of mine. Thanks!
