This place is TERRIBLE!!! The food was ok, not great but not terribly bad either although it is pricey. The service on the other hand was absolutely terrible. It was our first time to the East coast and we were looking forward to fresh seafood. To start the waitress messed up my moms order (even though it was the waitress who had recommended the entree she ordered), and when we pointed out the mistake she said she could fix it but it would take another 20-30 minutes to get her the correct order. In the interest of time my mom said that was ok and kept the wrong order. However, to make matters worse the same waitress forgot to put in my order and my friends order so we ended up having to wait another 30 minutes anyway to get our food. Of course by the time our food came the rest of our party had finished their dinner so they had to then sit and watch us eat our food. At no point did the waitress apologize for any of these mistakes and instead proceeded to just ignore us and avoid our table. When we complained to the manager his response was that she was new, and again didnt really apologize or offer to compensate for the terrible service. Considering the prices of their entrees and the terrible service that the manager was unapologetic for I would not recommend this place to anyone! There are much nicer restaurants near by that likely offer better food and better service.

Not a huge fan of seafood, but this place blew me away. Stopped by on a super humid Saturday afternoon for lunch. We were seated immediately and the dining room had enough AC to keep us cool. Our family shared some fresh oysters, corn on the cob, crab imperial, steamed shrimp, Captains bill and crabs. Everything was well prepared, seasoned and cooked fresh. Oysters tasted like they were just shucked. Crab imperial was so lump and had a rich cheesy taste. Each of the shrimp looked more like prawns a bit larger. Everything in the Captains Bills favorite was cooked to perfection. Scallop was moist, flounder was lightly broiled, crab cake was what I thought it would be perfect, and the vegetable crab soup which I thought was a throw in had plenty of flavor and crab meat. Even the corn bread was buttery and moist. I like how this location pays attention to everything on the menu. Nothing comes out until its perfect. Its seafood so expect to pay a lot, but its well worth it here. Make sure you save some room for their Nutty Buddy dessert. Ill be back to try their crab legs, hush puppies and lobster.

Drive 2.5 hours to come here. View is cool, but outside seating was hot (no fans for air movement). At 4pm on Thursday, they were already out of "colossal", so got extra large crabs at $78 a dozen. They were disappointingly very "skinny". Upstairs receptionist was deplorable. Waitress forgot our sides, then forgot what they were when we asked for them, but she did the same thing with another table. Sat outside but the plastic tables and chairs made us slip around from wearing shorts and sweating. (No padding on chairs?) Had a spider web under the table that wrapped around my legs when I scooted in. After I wiped it down, I didnt notice the spider already on my legs! Also ordered chicken and ribs, although the portions and sauce were good, the chicken was actually cold. It was fully cooked so it wasnt an issue but it was surprising to receive it that way. Disappointing visit. Its not what it used to be. Sad.

We went during lunch and we were immediately seated. The place was busy but not packed. The waitress took our food and drink order rather quickly, but we waited a long time for our food to come. At one point another waitress came over and asked us what wed ordered. I guess she noticed wed been waiting a while. Our waitress saw the other one come up to us and gave her a look, but didnt come over to check in or offer to refill our drinks for another several minutes. When our food did finally arrive, it was delicious! The seafood was fresh and the steak was cooked perfectly. And the hushpuppies were delectable! This would have been a 5 star review if our waitress had been more attentive and kept us up-to-date on our order status. Despite the wait, I would still eat there again.

Sandi, my server, was excellent. I had Haddock Chowder and it was perfect, thick, creamy and no nonsense...Great flavor. Stuffed soft shell w/ crab imperial, very good, a little salty...The presentation was a little odd, dont try so hard. The little strawberries, on the other hand was a great, tasty addition. Potato salad, obviously house made, was delicious and perfect in every way. The fresh steamed asparagus, was good and cooked right. Although, it was poorly plated. Half of it was hanging off the plate when it arrived and landed on the table. Do the small, easy stuff right, the rest takes care of itself. Overall, a great lunch and location.

The seafood here was very good. I ordered a fried platter that had a sampling of everything on it - shrimp, scallops & crab and all if it was very good. My girlfriend ordered the crabcakes and they were also very good. We had eaten at another seafood restaurant on Kent Island and it was not as good as this place. Service was excellent - Arne was our waiter and he was great!! He was very polite and helpful and very quick to get something that we needed. Although we did not order any crabs, the table next to us did and they seemed very pleased with them. Would highly recommend this seafood restaurant.

Stop by on a Wednesday night for quick sandwich while heading to oc. Ordered a chicken sandwich and a soft crab sandwich. It took 10 minutes before we saw our server. Another 15 minutes for drinks and to order. The sandwiches came after at least a half hour, the soft crab was not very good and the chicken sandwich was burned with cold fries. I sent the chicken sandwich back it took another 20 minutes at least to get the new sandwich. No manager ever checked out us nothing was taken off the bill. We ended up filling up on desert. We where there a total of almost 2 hours for sandwiches. Very disappointed.

Customer service was poor. When we arrived we stated we wanted to be sat next to a window. The hostess ignored our request, even though there were plenty of window seats available, and sat us in the middle of the restaurant. We had to wait 15 minutes at least before our waitress arrived. Refills for our drinks were also neglected and our waitress was the opposite of attentive. As for the food, it was alright, but not up to par with the prices they were charging. Shrimp werent deveined, which we found disgusting - especially for what they cost.

Great atmosphere. Prices reasonable. $40 for steamed shrimp meal, pound of mussels, margarita, and 2 desserts. I loved that there are not plates, you just eat off the table (which is covered in paper. You can get super messy and it makes it fun for me. We got the house made nutty buddy dessert. It was great...once we let it sit for 20 minutes because they must keep them in a vat of liquid nitrogen!!! They were like steel pipes coming out of freezer. But worth the wait.
