Update: Food poisoning! Downgraded to one star! Came in on a saturday, asked for a seat and the hostess (older woman) laughed at us... really... how rude can you be? Then she told us shed give us a seat if we left by 730. Really trying to drive away some business here, thinking back on it we shouldve just left right then and there. Is it that difficult to be polite to paying customers? Otherwise food was decent, however extremely overpriced. Waiter wasnt really all that attentive and didnt give us bread which we thought was odd but figured they just didnt do that. When we left we saw him giving his other table bread though! He never refilled a single water and just generally didnt care about us. Temperature inside was extremely inconsistent due to lazy waiters (specifically blonde younger woman in different attire than everyone else working there) leaving the huge door to the deck open. She had zero regard for closing the door. I understand leaving it open to bring food through quickly but she would just wander away for long periods of time. I assume it was the owner was talking to a table and kept he shutting it, which helped because it got noticeably cooler. We ended up finishing our meal 30 min before we were allowed to be there. As we were walking out the older hostess commented "oh you guys finished on time." My brothers wife was privy to the comment, because if she said that to me I wouldve told her off. I have little tolerance for poor attitudes when im here to pay and havent made a single negative comment or action to warrent such responses. I will not go back and honestly hope the owners read this and make positive changes. EDIT: update as of later that night, my brother ended up getting food poisoning from the Mahi Mahi. Truly toping off the visit.

PRICEY WITH AN AWESOME VIEW ! DECOR: The view is awesome. Unfortunately I went here on a chilly Saturday afternoon so the outside seating which is on the deck was closed. The interior is very cool! Looks like a big wooden cabin and of course quite spacious. FOOD: We ordered GRILLED SHRIMP, CREAM OF CRAB SOUP, FISH TACOS, APPLE PIE(WITH ICE CREAM). The food was just OKAY! The presentation was impressive. The fish in the fish tacos and the crab in the soup was smelly/fishy. However if you eat the fish taco with with the sour cream and pickle, it tastes better. Also, the size of the fish was big, may be it would have tasted better if the fish fillet was cut into smaller slices. The fish tacos were served with some designer potato fries. I liked the grilled shrimp. The dessert was also okay! It was some sort of apple pie served in a glass that has fresh apples topped with a scoop of ice cream. It was quite hard to eat and we were afraid that the ice cream will fall off the glass or may be the glass will fall off if we hurry. SERVICE: The waiter was so polite. He did recommend us items on the menu and also kept enquiring of we were comfortable and happy with the service. The food was served pretty quick (within 15 mins from ordering). PRICE: Our total was approx $50 (including tips). But worth if you are able to enjoy the weather and the view.

Dog friendly, indoor outdoor, bay front seafood restaurant located next to The Jetty Restaurant Bar and Grill and the Hilton Garden Inn. There is amble parking with an attendant during busy periods. Dress style ranges from beachy casual to dressy. Beautiful views from many locations are available. The best seating is outdoor on the deck which is less crowded and less noisy. Second best location would be the covered deck. The inside seating area is crowded and noisy. Service was good, waitress was attentive and keep checking on everything. Food was delicious and portions could be larger. Asparagus is the main option, so ask to substitute for more corn relish for those that dont like asparagus. Boaters, jet skiers and canoers arrived to dine or pick up orders. There is an indoor outdoor bar, areas for private events. Worth at least one visit that will be positive and memorable.

The actual location and restaurant is great. The place is beautiful. That being said the service was bad. Not absolutely horrible but aggrivating enough to piss you off. The rest of the party agreed service was pretty bad. On top of that I paid almost 20.00 for a crab cake sandwich which was no bigger than a cheeseburger from mcdonalds with a dispicable amount of fries that came with it. I mean seriously fries are cheap throw some more in there. The rest of the parties meals seemed pretty skimpy but I guess they were satisfied. Keep in mind the meals are not pricey but they are not cheap. I just think portion sizes need to be upped. I was with family so I decided not to make a big deal of it so I didnt ruin the vibe but when I went home I had to make another meal to actually get full. I loved the atmosphere but I doubt Ill go back anytime soon.

We tried going there the weekend of June 5th. We had a reservation and while most of the entire tables inside were empty, we were seated next to the kitchen where it was so loud that we could barely hear each other. When we asked to be moved, the host did a pretend check in the front (we were watching her) and came back with this is all we we have. So, we decided to leave. We went to Hemingways, which was a 10 minute drive, where we had the complete opposite experience. Even though there were only a couple of open tables outside, the host gave us a choice of tables, then came back to make sure we were happy. I dont rate restaurants too often however, our experience in this instance was so diametrically opposite that it merited posting.

On Easter my family and I went to Bridges and I was very impressed when we walked in. The décor and set up was very nice. The prices of the food seemed to match the décor, so I was okay until the food actually came out. I wasnt impressed. The cream of crab soup tasted like a very bland plain cream soup with some old bay and little crab added to it. The flavors didnt melt together like a soup should. The fish and chips were so loaded with batter and greasy that I couldnt eat more than half a piece. Again- I know this was on Easter, but it wasnt that packed during the later afternoon when we went. Our server was fantastic, but the food was not.

The food is delicious and the bread (baked onsite, per our waiter) is fabulous. Butter is not served in plastic or foil containers, but is cut triangles in a dish ! The tappenade dip for the bread is wonderful as well. The waterfront location is superb and the owners have invested heavily in slips and docks to make this a real boaters destination. Inside/outside bar has tropical flavor and the waterside tables, groundkeeping and thoughtful overall design make Bridges a long term Kent Narrows winner. You are going to love the service, the heavy handed bartenders, the waitstaff and the spectacular views.

The food is always great here but the service, not so much. Ordered to go and when the host picked up the phone she wasnt nice at all. When I went to pick up the food about 6 workers were standing at the host stand and nobody greeted me like you should when you walk into any restaurant. Only one of them were actually nice and asked if I needed anything and even when I left I said thank you and everything, nothing in return. I work at a restaurant and this customer service would not be acceptable at all. Your host should make people feel comfortable and welcomed and I felt the complete opposite.
