Went for a live music, the sound was OK and staff was friendly but once the place is at capacity the layout makes for it to be very frustrating to try to actually see the bands. The speakers are also situated so if because it is crowded and you are stuck back by the bar you can hear the conversations of the people at the tables behind you better than the band everyone paid to see. Kind of silly. Would have to be a great band to go back. Didnt try the food so this review is just on seeing live music there.

Hate this place went to play last night, were suppose to have a backline and it was a lie have to load our gear on stage and is not a 5 minute thing sound man says over the PA so anyone can hear that we have only 15 minutes of show we play 3 songs got kicked out of stage the rest of bands got more time on stage more time loading their gear in stage but we were the only one who got discriminated, I believe he is racist. BTW 70% of the crowd were invited by us.

I was new to the area and was told by some friends on Ft Detrick to try Cafe 611. We brought our friends with us who were visiting from Virginia and all of us were extremely pleased with the food, atmosphere and management. The owner even came over to greet us and made us feel welcomed! I would likely recommend it to anyone! Michael T

Cafe 611 is a truly magical place. If you have an apperciation for quality food and are a muisc lover you really need to check this place out. I met a good friend of mine here and they have amazing event options for all events. If you need a good event venu/ hangout spot you now have found it.

Cafe 611 is an excellent place to see and interact with live music. We saw the high energy power house Pain and Punk legends D.R.I. last night. The acoustics were excellent and the front stage area is perfect for audience participation.The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Cafe 611 is a great place. Nice friendly staff everytime you go there so personable and warm. My uncle passed away earlier in the year and they didnt hesitate to allow my family to have his repast there. Best place on market St for every type of entertainment needs.

I had my wedding at Cafe 611 and it was truly amazing to watch the transformation of the building. The food was delicious and the drinks were plentiful. I would highly recommend Cafe 611 for an easy one stop location and the staff is very friendly.

Very spacious venue. The food is always excellent and the staff is very friendly. This place always has some type of entertainment going on. A real gem for downtown Frederick! Highly advise checking them out!
