Gathering Grounds has a great selection of coffee, which is served in many forms, drip, espresso, etc. They always have mild, medium, and strong selections with a variety of acidity to suit a wide range of tastes. They also offer all day breakfast sandwiches and burritos, which are quite tasty. The decor is low key but tasteful. Unfortunately, the place can often get busy with local George Mason students studying, which can sometimes make it challenging to find a seat. However, during good weather they do offer outside seating. If you are looking for a good place to get a flavorful cup of coffee for a reasonable price, Gathering Grounds wont disappoint.

Went here to meet friends. Baristas George and Cailin were very friendly and entertaining. Had a great conversation with them while my food cooked. Great coffee and a very wide selection of teas. Great place for getting work done off campus. Very affordable prices, especially for students. And they serve alcohol if thats more your style. Would certainly return again!

I came in today, and the coffee machine was down because of water pressure in the area. The baristas were super helpful and made me a fresh pour over in no time for the same price as the drip coffee would normally be. And it was way better! This place also has gelato, flavored drinks, beer and mixed drinks. It is a cool spot and I will definitely be back!!

Good coffee. Cool atmosphere. Plenty of seating for such a small place. Good to have a locally owned spot too. WiFi is solid. Only complaint is the low droning sound of the air conditioner or something. Hate to take off a star for it but I just cant not hear it while Im here. Next time Ill bring headphones and being as the other star.

Huge variety of coffees. Convenient location and free treats almost every visit. Only place Ive found with really flavorful drip coffee. They also make a great Nitro cold brew. Many of the staff members are students at GMU, and are very friendly and easy to talk to.

The breakfast sandwiches and burritos at this place are insanely good! Theres a Dunkin Donuts right next to this place and I cant believe the Dunkin hasnt went out of business yet. Dunkin has the most basic generic food, no comparison. Love this place, very tumblr.

I have been working for Gathering Grounds for a couple months and I am very impressed with how they carry out business. I go in for meetings every couple of weeks and they are always accommodating and hospitable. The nitro and campfire drinks are phenomenal.

$5 for a bagle they didnt make and coffee thats real bland also, you have to put the cream cheese on yourself which they dont tell you nor do they put a knife in your bag dont make the mistake I made just go to dunkins next door

Its busy because GMU students come in to do work or meet people, but the vanilla chai latte was yummy, the pastry was warm and it wasnt chaotic. Definitely coming again.
