Earlier this evening, I went to this shop to grab dinner and had an extremely disappointing experience. When I walk inside, the employee is friendly and takes my order. I noticed there was a flyer in the window advertising for "K9s and Vines". Since Im promoting a charity event in Frederick for Suicide Awareness and Prevention, I thought itd be an appropriate addition to the other sign that was posted. I grabbed two flyers and asked the employee that took my order if he could give one to his manager/owner as a possible sponsor and I could put the other one up in the window and explained the charity. He said yes to both requests. After this, I paid and waited for my sandwich. A man came back from behind the counter, walked out the door, walked back in, looking at the sign and looking at me. He did not greet me. He asked, "Did you do this?!" in regards to the sign, picking it up. I was kinda surprised by his tone and I said yes, so he took it off the window and tossed it at me, saying he should "Throw it away". I was completely caught off guard and just stared at him. He then went on to say that I should ask and "You cant just go putting things up in windows!". I then replied that I did ask and the employee said it was ok. He muttered at me and walked back behind the counter, reprimanding his employee in front of me, saying that he needs to "Run things by him,". After this, he went to the back again not to be seen again. If I hadnt already paid for my food, I would have walked out. A few minutes later, the guy who took my order gave me my food and I thanked them, asking who the man the scolded me was and what was his name. According to the employee, the mans name is Tom and he is the owner. I half expected Tom to come back out and apologize, thinking he just had an off moment. He did not. Tom, its bad business to scold customers. As the owner, you should be setting the standard high for everyone else to follow. You did not make me feel welcome in your restaurant and I will never return. Whats shameful is your reaction to me trying to promote a charity that is saving peoples lives. Not only did I ask permission, but there were other flyers in the window as well. If youd taken a moment to actually greet me or talk to me, I would hope you could see its an issue that deserves support just as much as "K9s and Vines". Hopefully you learn something from this.

Went here twice and was underwhelmed. Atmosphere is hit or miss, and so are the workers. Went during lunch time once, and it was busy but not packed, but took 30 minutes to get my sandwich. The food is decent, sandwich sizes are reasonable but not large. Sandwiches are expensive too, and I wasnt satisfied with the size of the meal, or the quality of it, considering it was nearly a 10 dollar sandwich

The menu (better viewed online than in restaurant) is original and I liked that. My friend was bothered by the walrus on the wall that was sucking out of a straw but I didnt even notice the paintings on the wall. They dont have a sign really except a small widow sign so it took us a bit to find it. Its in the strip mall by Starbucks under the sign "carry out".

Im the chef at Morningside Inn. I went to the 7th Street Sandwich Shop on a recommendation from one of my purveyors who also services this facility. The sandwichs are very creative with a "surf" theme. Everything was fresh and good. Portions were good as well. I would highly recommend them for a change of pace from the average sandwich.

Beach themed sandwich shop. Large variety of sandwiches, gyros, loaded fries and more. We ordered steak and cheese sandwich and black and blue sandwich. Both delicious. My husband wishes the black and blue was offered As a larger sandwich. Chill atmosphere. Glad my mother-in-law decided picked this restaurant for lunch.

I ordered an open-faced ruben (because thats the only way the ruben came)and it looked amazing however, instead of sauerkraut it came with coleslaw. If you ask me, thats not really a Reuben. Its a corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut. It didnt taste bad but I wanted to Ruben I was a little disappointed.

I walked in looking for a quick lunch. Super friendly staff gave me the run down on the menu. The bread was warm and fresh and the sandwich was delicious. They even tucked a chocolate chip cookie in the wrapping. Will definitely go back if Im in the area :)

LOVE the hush puppies! Sandwiches are very good too. I usually get the Reuben, but its hard to go wrong with any sandwich here. The bread is fresh, veggies are fresh, sandwich is made with plenty of meat. Add a side of hush puppies and youre in heaven!

This is an awesome little find off 7th Street. California beach-style atmosphere, big sandwiches, and good prices. Pay attention though, the front of the store doesnt have an overt sign, so it can be easy to miss.

First timer with no idea what to expect. The atmosphere was relaxed and beachy. The menu has something for everyone! I had the Godfather, which is an Italian style sub. It was phenomenal! Ill definitely be back

My tests for any sandwich shop are their bread and their Italian sandwich. 7th Street nails them both. The Godfather lives up to its name. The loaded fried and chili dogs were also delicious when I tried them.

Never had a sandwich I didnt like. All the ingredients are fresh but the bread tastes like it was made that day. I generally dont eat hotdogs, but I tasted my daughters and plan to order my own some time!

Great value ($5 shortboard sandwiches are filling by themselves) and excellent ingredient selection. What I imagine a upscale chef would make as a lunchtime snack for themselves and their friends.

Sandwiches are so delicious. There are so many options and every sandwich comes wrapped up with a tiny, homemade, chocolate chip cookie. All breads are baked in-house. Fries are excellent.

Been looking for a sandwich shop like the one I frequented in San Angelo. This place is as close as they come. Super good food, friendly staff, unassuming decor.
