Our family was faced with an emergency and no wear to turn. My brother passed away so we had to make arrangements for a funeral as well as the repast. Someone suggested we talk to the owners of Darrahs Cafe to have our repast. I must tell you they took such good care of us and our large number of family and friends. Some of the local people said they will be back for sure! The food was wonderful and the staff the very best. The owner even allowed us to make changes to the menu because we have a lot of children and wanted to add items the kids would enjoy. I am so very Thankful for all they did to make a difficult day just a little better.

We have gone here for years and I definitely recommend the Saturday and Sunday brunch. However, the dinner service during the week has started to drop off over the years. This week, there were no more than 6 other customers being served when we arrived. It took us 35 minutes to get our food. The food was lukewarm when it arrived, then we were told that one order was still waiting because it would take another 20 minutes to cook the rice. Its a nice local spot, but service needs to improve.

My wife,my son and I were on a Sunday trip to visit The Fort at Fort Washington and we wanted to stop someplace nice along the way. We passed Darrahs and saw that the parking lot was fairly busy. We figured that the place was worth stopping then. We were right. The Staff was super friendly, the prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. The place is not too big and feels comfortable and unpretentious. We will certainly stop by again.

Its good for something quick if youre in Fort Washington and dont want to be bothered with the Harbor. The service is slow but its a family run business. The best thing about it to me is the Saturday/Sunday brunch. Make sure to substitute your toast for 1 pancake. Their pancakes are really good and they also sometimes have salmon croquettes and grits that arent on the menu.

Our first time at Darrahs Cafe, was a very nice dining experience. We were seated immediately and served. The manager/owner and wait staff was pleasant and accommodating to our needs. We ordered breakfast, it came out quickly, it was hot and tasty, and our coffee cups were always full. We plan to visit again for dinner. I recommend this restaurant highly!

Yezzzzzz! Very good people and wonderful atmosphere. Excellent service and so much like family. Join us every Friday and Saturday For more fun and laughter that you didnt even know existed. Come and see the bad-guy flex and family and ate some of the best food in the county. For real real.

I really want to like this place, and I love the small town hole in the wall. Unfortunately Ive never had a good meal here, not bad, just not good. The food tastes frozen, not fresh. Maybe I just picked the wrong items. Been a few times probably wont be back.

we visited Darrahs on a Sunday for brunch. The food was great, the prices were even better, and the waiter was a pleasant young man with a baby daughter (we had our baby daughter with us). We wish we lived closer, so we could go there more frequently

Great food! I used to go there every Sunday after church then I moved from the area. I visited them last weekend and saw that the food is just as good as it used to be. The mens bathroom needsto be redesigned to increase privacy
