Found my self in town with a couple hours to kill so I decide to come here have some coffee and hop on my laptop to see whats around to do. The place has NO power outlets for (customer use)... Then when I ask for the wifi information the girl working snaps an attitude and tells me they dont have wifi... Really? This town seems nice but this coffee shop needs to step it up! Wish I got my coffee fix at the shell gas station down the street at least they were friendly.

I ordered a single cappuccino, they gave me a large cup of boiled milk w a shot of espresso in it. When i asked why they gave me a paper cup instead of regular small cappuccino cup they said "it is after nine, we are getting ready to close that is why we are using paper cups." When i asked about the ratio the barista said that that is their way of making cappuccino. Very disappointed w the service and the drink.

Small and cozy but really packed tight. Tables and chairs are very close together. Couldnt get to a table without asking other people to move. Coffee was decent. Unfortunately they did not have WiFi available there so I could not stay and work from there like I intended. Phone signal there as also very poor which made tethering unworkable. Unfortunately, was not to impressed with my experience there.

Wonderful coffee, unfortunately the selection of almond milk is limited to the typical Silk, which does not froth very well for espresso drinks. I always make sure to get the Hummus and Pita platter, which is always a refreshing option for lunch or a snack to share with others. The setting of the town is lovely and I will be sure to come here whenever Im in the area

This is one of my favorite coffee places in the Baltimore/DC area. The coffee is great and I love the specialty drink options. The snacks are good and the main cafe is a great place to sit, when seats are available. The main downside to the place is its small amount of seating room, but Im willing to make an extra stop off the highways just to get a coffee to go.

Great espresso drinks are hard to come by here in the East Coast ... Bean hollow is no exception, but they come close. If they perfected their foaming technique and were a bit more consistent, they would be the best Ive had in Maryland/D.C/Virginia. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff ... and fresh roast more than make up for the lack of perfection.

This is what you think a "coffee house" should be like in your mind. A great staff, awesome yet simple food and the best coffee I have ever had. I dont know how they do it but the coffee rocks. I also love the wood floors, they are original. The owner is very nice and on some Sundays youll even get a wave from the owners kid.

This is hands down one of the best coffee places in the Howard County area. The coffee has a good depth of flavour, and is never excessively sweetened. Food allergies and intolerances of all sorts are easily accommodated, and the staff are all very friendly. This is one of my favourite locations in the area.

Great coffee. I enjoyed the variety of choices. They have a coffee roaster right there inside the seating area. They do offer breakfast items and sandwiches even ice creme. Its a busy place and the morning I was there, a lot of small children running around and being loud did make me leave early.

Wife, kids and I love this place. We need to start going more often now that they are back up and running post-flood. Everything is great , food (breakfast-lunch-dinner), coffee, pastries, deserts, etc. You will not be disappointed unless you are ridiculously easy to disappoint.

A rarity in the Baltimore area; being from Seattle, I missed the finesse behind a good Latté. This place has that and more. Wonderful coffee house atmosphere, friendly Batistas, and great food combined with excellent coffee make for a wonderful experience. Good for families too.

I am so proud and excited that Bean Hollow has re opened after the devastating flood last year! The place is looking better then ever and everything taste as great as a remember! My only set back is its not easier to get to and park otherwise I would be here everyday!

Cute coffee shop in Ellicott City. It gets very busy and quite crowded on the weekends. The food is pretty good and the seasonal latte selection is creative and mostly delicious. Service can be a little slow at times. Overall I would recommend this place.

I like the coffee and food here quite a lot. The only downside is that sometimes the wait can be long and service is slow. Its with the wait, though. The ice cream is great! White peach tea flavor, if available, is amazing! So is the Java cookie flavor.

Soy latte good, nutella coffee good, Thai iced coffee good, strawberry smoothie good . their turkey club sandwich was full and delicious. Was very busy. Seems like a popular place. Not enough room for everyone. Staff was helpful and nice.

Love the ambience of the rustice look of the coffee shop. Brings me back to the small little shops in NY. Coffee is great!! They roast their own coffee beans! Really wish they didnt microwave some of the food. Friendly staff, no wifi.

Having been a barista for years, its a miracle any coffee shop can stay open with such rude and unfriendly staff. A hippee vibe is not enough to qualify a coffee shop as "great"...come here for the drinks, and nothing else.

Good little coffee shop in the heart of old EC. Coffee is very good and Batistas are professional and quick. I wish there were more places like this in the area. Parking can be tricky and expect to walk to get there.

One of my favorite Ellicot City spots. Ive been coming here for 15 years and it is still consistently great. Delicious drinks and sandwiches. Try the Power House on Sunflower seed bread. Expect a crowd on the weekend.

Small inside eating area, but worth the attempt. Lots of good drinks, hot and cold, coffee and other. Food items are available. Local art is profiled and sold by wall display. The Aztec hot chocolate is great!

The lavender chai and the Nutella drinks we had were absolutely perfect. The baristas were bright and friendly and the atmosphere seemed great for reading and relaxation. This is now my favorite Cafe in Ellicott.

Very cute coffee shop. They have sweet baristas and a great atmosphere, I love that they are open until 10pm. The coffee itself is alright, a little roasty. Overall, a good place to go in Old Ellicott City.

Usually crowded on the weekends, but for a reason. The coffee menu will get you what you want, and the pastries will make you say, "Shut. Up." Not in a mean way, but so as to express your contentment.

Its back after the flooding. Place looks better than ever and was jamming today. Coffee roasting will resume this week, so look for your whole and half pounds later this week 4/16/17.

One of the best coffee shops around. Good food, and even better drinks. Theres no wifi, and pretty bad reception, but it makes for a nice escape. Bring friends or a good book!

You can have really good coffee with tasty sandwiches. The place is a little bit small, but its cozy. You will enjoy sitting there with coffee smell and little chattering.
