As a wheelchair user, I would not recommend this place to anyone with a physical disability. I felt like a second class citizen at this place. My friend and I were put in a part of the restaurant downstairs thats for storage. I say this because the bar and tables were covered in boxes and chairs. We had folding tables to eat on. All of the main area of the restaurant was upstairs, which I was told was much nicer quality. The only way up was the dumbwaiter. Our waiter, a high school kid, did his best to accommodate us. Although no one came through this part of the restaurant but kitchen staff. The manager/owner came by and jokingly said dont steal our booze but said nothing on the conditions of the downstairs or inaccessibility. When our food arrived it was mediocre at best. The mash potatoes were loaded with salt to the point of almost being inedible. As a mid 20s athletic paraplegic this was one of the most humiliating dining experiences Ive ever had. Everyone who came in was confused as to why we were the only ones downstairs. I cannot emphasis enough that if you cant walk up steps to avoid this place.

My wife and I decided to try Portside while my son came to visit since it is right in town. We were quite disappointed with most of our experience. For the positives, our waitress was very nice and readily available and the view was delightful from the outside deck. For the negatives, the food sucked. Our crab cake sandwich was soggy inside and made up of too much filler for the price. Chicken tenders taste as if they were from Syscos frozen selection. Our shrimp scampi was absolutely swimming in butter, and this is coming from someone who absolutely loves butter. There was an 1/8" of butter layered at the bottom of the plate. While the nachos were tasty, the bottom was swimming in ground beef grease; should be drained prior to platting. With so many other restaurants in town, it is doubtful we will return any time soon. In their defense, a couple of my coworkers really like Portside, so I encourage you to experience for your self. I do feel it is a great place for people to go hang out and have some drinks.

If there was a scale that let me go to negative I would. I am in the military and was down from NM to visit family. We went to Portside in Cambridge and had appalling service and mediocre food. There were about ten shells in each bite of the crab cake, the fries were stale and the drinks came with gnats. The waitress would visit everyone else but our table. She even had other tables waitresses come to us so she wouldnt have to. I dont know what was with her but waiting on her for 30 mins between each visit has never happened to me. At the end of the meal I told the manager and she got an attitude as well. The waitress came back, got an attitude then walked away. This was an appalling experience. Karma sucks. Good luck.

Very nice restaurant we had a party of ,7 and they sat us right away. But we waited a long (i mean long) time for our appetizers. Then no salad dressing on the salad. The clams casino were clams with cheddar cheese and strip of bacon- would not recommend. But the clam dip was to die for . Everyone was happy with the meals- salmon, stuffed shrimp, clam strips, shrimp in a basket& fish tacos. I would recommend it if you have time and definitely get than clam dip!!!

The of us had dinner this evening and all of the food was very good. I had fish tacos that were excellent, recommended by another local business owner. Wife had steamed clams and daughter had chicken tenders and they were both very happy with them. Sophie, our waitress, was okay despite not being very friendly or observant to our needs unless asked. If service was better I would have probably rated this waterfront restaurant 5 stars.

Terrible food and service. I had a hair on my food and they refused a refund and refused to replace my food. Employees smell like weed and while I was using the bathroom a male employee did not wash his hands after exiting the stall. Waitress asked if we knew anybody that could sell her a gun, when we refused to answer she cursed at us. Never will be returning to this restaurant and

Can I give it 0 stars? The food was awful. The grease was old and tainted all the food flavors and made for soggy cold fries. The garlic parmesan wings tasted like they rinsed off yesterdays buffalo sauce and resauced with garlic parmesan and re-served. Just goss. service was ridiculously slow. Only good thing about this place is the breeze if you sit on the patio.

The most disappointing experience Ive had in a while. Very slow and didnt seem to care. They were out of a lot of food including their special of the night, I find very unprofessional to have a special and not even have anymore of. When we told the waitress that our food was cold after waiting an hour for, she didnt really seem to care. I will never go back.

My family and I have made this place our fourth of July dinner tradition prior, to viewing the fireworks display later in the evening, for the past two years. The location, food, and atmosphere are fantastic. The place has some age to it but nonetheless a great dining experience. Really really good seafood. Make sure you try the mussels.

Best oyster stew, plenty of oysters in rich creamy broth... typical eastern shore redneck joint... whats not to like? Not fine dining but you know that going in, wife likes the fish and chips, deck is great in warm weather, waitresses are nice, ( hey its not Hyatt!) Dont set the bar too high and you wont be disappointed.....

A nice little Seafood restaurant and bar in Cambridge MD. The food was very good ad the place was clean and had the nautical feel without going overboard as some of the more commercial restaurants have a tendency to do. Definitely a place to grab drinks with friends or a casual dinner with someone you really like.

Good, friendly service. The place was hopping for midweek. Turkey panini and crab cakes were average to our taste. Wedge salad was large and tasty. Overlooked a boat harbor area and bridge. Outdoor dining area available. Sports bar atmosphere inside.

Food was over priced and poorly cooked. Soup tasted like it was straight out of a generic can. Portions were small. I paid $25 for Alfredo pasta that looked like campbells cream of mushroom over noodles. Skip this restaurant when you see it.

Food is good! Service is off the chain! Very friendly folks. First time here. Will be putting this stop in the rotation of destinations on the motor. Coming from the Western Shore when you want some of that Eastern Shore Wind Thearapy

Disappointed. The foods werent that good. I ordered portside club (crab sandwich) more bread than crab. My husband ordered shrimp scampi, it was very oily but Nacho was very good . The waitress was very friendly and great view outside.

Comfort food at its best! Eastern Shore seafood favorites. Love their seafood pizza, homemade ranch dressing, Thursday night steamed shrimp special & "To Die For"... fabulous cream of crab & vegatable crab mix soup...
