Awful experience. We came in and sat at a small table in the corner and then got surrounded by a hoard of people. These people moved a large table less than one foot away from us- I couldnt even move out of my seat. The waitress was fine with it! Now for the food, I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I could have made one at home for way better. My friend got sausage gravy over biscuits. It was cold, had no seasoning, the consistency of water, and had no sausage in it. The only thing that saved the day was Maplehofe chocolate milk! The food here used to be fantastic. What happened? Now for the service, we had a second waitress assist us because the first one wasnt very well. When we went to pay, the lady at the register was rather unfriendly. She didnt acknowledge us until we finally said goodmorning.

Typical diner food. Hot Roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes very tasty. Chicken wings were not what youd expect, they were simply fried "honey dipt" style wings. When I asked waitress about sauce options she told me they just come plain, but then asked me if I would like ranch to dip into...it didnt really work so well since the wings were a little sweet already...but they were not objectionable. Wife had veal pam and enjoyed it. We both asked for extra sauce or gravy and it was provided happily. Looks like they do nice breakfast also. Lots of pies, cakes and pudding for dessert. I had raisin pie, very nice.

This place is a disgrace. I went with my boyfriend and the waitress gave us grief because I gave him a beet from my salad. She said she would have to charge us since we were "stealing." I complained to the manager and she told me over the phone to come in for a free meal for the both of us but when we went in she only gave us one free meal and we had to pay for the other! What a rip! These people are rude and the food isnt anything special. You can get the same stuff at a billion other places. Avoid this place like the plague my friends!

Good food. Great prices. They now accept debit/credit cards. Dine here couple of times a month with my wife and mother in law. Almost always get the steak and egg special for ~ 8.95 - 6oz del monico, two eggs, fried potatoes and toast. Occasionally have to wait a few minutes for a table to open up, but it is an efficient diner style atmosphere and have never had to wait more than a few minutes.

Cash only place! Food was incredibly cheap and delicious! I accidentally stumbled upon the place with a friend and we ordered these yummy steaks under $13.00. Food prices were awesome cheap. Sadly it was cash only and we didnt know it until AFTER we ate. I rarely carry cash but that day I actually had a $ 20 and it covered my bill and tip! Whew! Great place for good food n cheap date!

I have lived in the Quarryville area for years and have eaten at the QV often. The food is nothing fancy, but awesome portions and always tasty. Staff are friendly and attentive. The only drawback is the size. It is not a large place and during busy hours getting a table can be difficult. Regulars know when to avoid the crowds.

we love this little place; food is great, they could make the salad bar better, but, the desserts are terrific! We ride our motorcycle around this beautiful area and always stop for a meal!
