This location just opened and 4 of us decided to visit for happy hour last week (5/14/15) for some apps and drinks. We were seated quickly outside and thats where the "good" ended. It was 5+ minutes before a server ever came over to get our drink order. Once we placed the order it was close to 20+ minutes before the drinks arrived. These were simple drinks. We were not ordering complicated cocktails, just a few beers and simple "liquor and soda" type of drinks. This was the pattern for the next 1.5 hours. Pleace our order, wait 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive, wait another 10 minutes before the server even came back and then wait another 20 minutes for our drinks. Also, during this time we saw two people come sit down near our table, wait and wait and end up leaving because the server never came by. We even saw one person "dine & dash" because it took him close to an hour to get a drink and a salad. Now, Im not sure if it was our servers fault or the kitchen, but this was just an awful experience. It seemed like the outside service was a mess but inside was working fine. I expressed my concerns to the manager-on-duty. We had a some of our drinks comped but they need to do some serious work before Ill go back to this location.

Staff is real good, professional, and polite. Bar has a good selection of top shelf items but a real blower they do not have Coors Light on tap. Mug club is awesome as you get your own dedicated mug and a discount off tap beers regardless of happy hour or not. Food isnt bad, I personally only get a few items such as the wings (cooked well), the hog hammers, and the old fashioned hamburger. To enjoy the atmosphere you should go during a Redskins game, or playoff action involving the Caps, Nats, and Wizards. Definitely not a singles type place to meet someone but the right amount of alcohol could change that.

I was there for a work related meeting on a week night in their private room. The waiter did an outstanding job and the food was good and a decent portion. My only gripe is the prices have risen dramatically since I used to visit the Turtle that closed in Laurel. (like 40% higher for their burgers, currently $12 if my memory serves me well) The menu appeared to be the same, something for everyone.

I always have a very pleasant experience here. Good is good and well presented. Staff is always friendly and efficient. And atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. Above is always true whether I am there with a group, alone or with my grandchildren. Same nice service.

Trivia on Tuesdays with Charm City Trivia. If not for that, I wouldnt go here, as sports are strange and foreign to me. Decent bar food, and restaurant food that you can eat with your mouth and, afterwards, say, "Why yes, I did eat food in my mouth at this establishment!"

Service was good thats why it got 2 stars Paid $8 for a mid shelf scotch (dewars) and barely got 1.5 ounces. Completely empty except a crowd older than 50, and they will not turn up the volume of any of the TVs so you can listen to the games. Would not go back.

Pretty good Turtle, its definitely got everything it needs to be a good lunch dinner, or family spot. Didnt have the games the Turtle in Onley does but they are Franchise locations so that makes sense.
