Horrible Service and Staff. I visited Players August of 2011, I was only there to see the band at the bar. Upon arrival at the bar I was not greeted and when I asked for a drink for myself and my friend it took over 20min before we recieved it. We both got martinis but the glasses were two different sizes and very weak. When I asked for an orange crush the waitress sighed and rolled her eyes. I asked what the problem was and she said she didnt know how to make my drink?!?! She was very rude with me and unprofessional. Got a new waitress friendly but just as slow and could not make a proper boilermaker. I spoke with manager who was as equally rude and not only unprofessional but disrespectful. The manager after hearing my complaint told me I could drink out of the sink in the ladies room!! He said it was a joke but obviously I wasnt laughing... Also was told my orange crush would be on the house and it was not...Later I saw the same manager doing shots with the waitress who was rude to my friend and I. Terrible service, staff, and atmosphere. Bar was full of loud and obnoxious drunk locals. Impossible to get a buzz because service is sooo slow. Food was cold and subpar. A complete joke and utter travesty. Looking into reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!!

For us its the walk to neighborhood pub. But actually its also a sports bar and restaurant. The space is divided between a sit down restaurant and the bar to the left. To the right is a section off party room and there is also a sun room/outdoor type of space. They will accommodate larger groups and have many community fundraisers here. The food is and service is good and priced OK for the area. There are always people walking in at lunch time and sometimes some neighborhood teenagers get together here for a midday snack. A great atmosphere sum it up.

Walked in at 1 in the afternoon. Lunchtime on a saturday. No hostess. 3 cooks when you walk in and they all just stared at us. Not 1 person said just a moment or anything. Walked out..WENT BACK INSIDE. Walked further in restaurant and there was only 1 table being served so they werent busy. Waitress walks to the bar and sits down and asks cooks why were standing there. Pathetic. If they were packed at lunchtime I would get it...but they open at 11 and they knew we were waiting to be seating. Maybe I shouldve worn a suit?

Drinks are way over priced $9 for an orange crush $12 for an angry balls(hard cider and fireball whiskey) and service was terrible took bartender at least 10 mins to get the orange crush when I asked for one and after waiting 30 mins for food I had to go ask bartender about it to remind her so she would go get it surely wont be going back here anytime soon if ever bill for 2 apps and 4 crushes and 2 balls and 4 shots was $120 really???? And apps were not very good either!!

I would say my husband and I are regulars to Players. We are in a couple times a week for dinner or just for happy hour. The food is delicious, and the chef is very personable, he truly cares about his food. The service staff is great they are all very attentive and worlds different then what was there before. We love the changes and everything you have done to give us back a great local meeting spot. Keep it up and we will keep coming back.

My experience is based mainly on the bar where the bands play on left side of main dining area so I cant speak for inside dining or bar area. This part of the restaurant was lively and the serving and bar staff was very responsive to customers requests. The acoustics arent the greatest for bands but its partly due to the layout. Bathrooms are clean. Location is great and parking is plentiful.

Im in this place every other day it seems and in the past 6 weeks I am seeing negative changes made by the owner. Good friendly wait staff being replaced by just the opposite, daily specials that were inspired and very good made by the past chef the new chef now thinks a meatball sub is special...insulting! If my waitress leaves, so will I!

If you like Crab Cake, you should try this place. It was made with 100% crab meat and the cake size was larger than most restaurants Crab Cakes in this area. These were the best Crab Cakes I ve ever had. I know what real crab meat taste like and looks like. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of this restaurant.

Low end establishment filled with over served male drunks....a sausage factory..tip hungry drug addicted bartenders like those who just reviewed the place 4 stars but does not tell you she works there....only ones reviewing the place positively is those who work there trying to keep their dying hustle alive.

Players update: The bar area is the most popular part of this restaurant and it definitely isnt big enough. Sometimes it can be tough to find a table or seat at the bar, but the restaurant will be empty. IMHO they should expand the bar area. Love the staff, though.

Nice bar atmosphere. Excellent cesar salad. Not a lot of people when I was there, but a great place to relax and eat after a round of golf. In the down side, my friends French dip was really scanty on meat, so Id avoid that.

Beer is way over priced. $7 for a pint of loose canon and rebel IPA is ridiculous. Food was mediocre at best. Not worth going based on beer prices
