This used to be the best place in Brunswick to eat (not that there are many choices) for 10 yrs, well I moved and havent been there in forever and decided to drive out on Sunday. Took us an hour and a half to get there just to see it was HORRIBLE. Gone was the half decent buffet, just empty silver tins with spoons in them. We still decided to sit down and order off the menu but after just a few minutes I could tell that wasnt a great idea either. It was so cold in there we could see our breath as we read the menu. Needless to say I was done and decided we would try our luck somewhere else...

Face it - outside of NYC, LA or San Fran, Chinese food just isnt that fantastic anywhere. This place is just as good as any other in the VA/MD/DC metro area. Tasty hot & sour soup, good moo shu pork, great Gen. Tzos chicken. Would recommend the Singapore noodles, veggie lo mein and crab rangoon as well. Weve ordered here at least 4 times in as many months and no disappointments yet. Our pick-up orders are always ready in 10-15 minutes and error free. Friendly service, local business, quick prep time, and most unusual for the area - a decent price.

I have a project to work in Lovettsville, VA just across the Potomac River where there is only one seven eleven store and zero traffic light there. I decided to find chinese food nearby and "siri" took me to this restaurant. I order General Tsaos Chicken as it was labelled in red meaning that its kind of spicy. When I opened the container, I found dry-overcooked pieces of chicken in a very thick sauce or should I call it chinese syrup. I will make sure that I am not going back there again and stick with 7/11 in Lovettsville. Alex

This food is horrible. The only Chinese I know is "Americanized" Chinese food and what I experienced tonight was not it. The fried noodles came straight out of a store bought package...I should have left right then but I continued to be optimistic awaiting my General Tsos chicken. Well a previous reviewer described it perfectly- goo! If this review saves one person a buck I will be happy. This place should be shut down.

Ive been eating here for 4 years and its always great. The best thing is she and here kids speak good English and are always willing to customize your order to your liking. Ive only ate in once and generally always do carry out. Prices are great and the food is good. Can you really mess up Americanized Chinese food anyway???

Friendly service, but the food has gone dramatically down in quality in the past few years. They add way too much msg/ thickener to every dish. Used to have delicious hot and sour soup, now it is like spicy gravy with vegetable-ish lumps. Unfortunately, there arent any other options in the immediate area.

I have been a customer there for sometime now but the last orders of sweet/sour chicken were overly cooked. Too hard to eat, hard as a rock and not very tasty at all. When a family spends that kind of money on a meal you expect more. It was very disappointing this round and I dont think Ill be back.

Their food could be better. Im from P.G. County and the Chinese food down there is excellent! I move up here and theyre charging city prices and DONT deliver. If they deliver I would eat from them more often. But since they really dont have a presence to me Ill keep heading to Frederick to get my fix.

Their beef fried rice was absolutely the worst ever! The color of rice was orange. Yes, brilliant orange. It had no taste. No salt, no pepper. Just tasteless, orange-colored fried rice with meager amount of meat, onion, and bean sprout. I can cook fried rice 10 times better in 15 min.

My family and I really enjoy this restaurant. Service is always fast and friendly. Prices are great in proportion to the portion sizes you get. I really have no complaints...we are always happy with our meal there.

First off, I would never take a review with incorrect spelling, seriously. This place is great! My family and I always eat here. They are very kind and give great portions. Definitely worth the trip

Only thing prepared well are the fortune cookies.. Hot and Sour soup was niether. Flavored canal water would be a more appropriate name. First several years were decent times for this place. No more.

These reviews threw me through a loop. This is the second-best Chinese restaurant in Frederick County and, well, the only one in Brunswick. Very good food and very nice people.

Im sorry to say that New China has the worst-tasting food Ive ever been served. Brunswick, Maryland doesnt have much to choose from, but nobody deserves this offal.

The food is mediocre and the service is horrible. But considering theres not another Chinese joint in over 20 miles, it does hit the spot from time to time.

If you go anytime outside core dinner hours, expect some things on the buffet to be a little dried out.

Not the best but not the worst. However, their string beans in garlic sauce are excellent.
