MANAGER PUT HIS HANDS ON MY HUSBAND! I was a frequent customer at the bel air location and have brought many friends and family members here to eat. My husband and I and our 4 young children went here for dinner tonight and they made our sushi wrong and we tried it, ate about 3 pieces and sent it back and simply asked if they could either remake what we originally ordered or take it off the bill. The waiter said his manager was not allowing him to take it off & we had to pay anyway. I spoke with the manager and he was EXTREMELY RUDE! He was yelling at me in front of my kids telling me he now has to waste food and it was made correctly he said sarcastically "do you know how to make our sushi? so when i asked him to review the ingredients on the menu with me he told me "you cant just get everything for free and do whatever you want" and i told him this was outrageous and i would never come back there after the way he spoke to me. he said "Oh no since you wont come back we better close our doors tomorrow" I told him he was a complete ***hole and then he repeatedly asked me "Why you call me ***hole?" while aggresivly getting closer and closer to my face. i thought he was going to push/hit me honestly Then he insisted he call the cops on me because "i wouldnt pay my bill" which i never said i asked him to resolve this issue. i gave up arguing over $12 and paid my bill and when we were leaving my husband said im sorry for the confusion but you should not talk to women like that and he said he was calling the cops for racial discrimination. my husabnd went to leave and the manager stood in front of the door and grabbed him by his shirt and arm and said no your waiting here for the cops. my husband leave again telling him you cannot hold me here and the manager pushed him into the door leaving a mark on his elbow. THIS IS THE WORST MANAGEMENT IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I CANNOT BELIEVE HE CAN PUT HIS HANDS ON MALE CUSTOMERS AND TALK TO FEMALE CUSTOMERS THAT WAY.

Used to love this place, so much that we reserved the back room for my wedding rehersal dinner. The manager and owner was a complete Dick. I had a reservation for 23 people at 6, he wouldnt seat us early and told us that if all 23 did not show up by 6 he was giving the room away. We offered to pay for all the seats if money was the issue, regardless if they had people there, he didnt care. I had people driving in that day from all over the east coast, so they got a little lost and were late. He almost gave our "reserved" room away. Finally he let us sit and said if anyone else shows up they can not come in. Food was great as always, chef was good to watch, it was pricey but these places are. I wont go here again and I dont recommend this place for any large groups or gatherings. The owner is all about the Benjamins and doesnt give a **** about his service to you if he thinks he can make more by screwing you over.

I wish I could give less than a one star. My husband and friends reserved two tables for our party. Originally there were 18 people but some ended up canceling, leaving us at 14. Instead of letting us stay at the tables we reserved we got pushed out of the party room to the tables in the main room, and sat at all of us at one table. It was horrible and uncomfortable. While the owner was being completely unrealistic and talking down to us, his workers were rolling their eyes behind him. Also, the floors where completely covered in gunk. All of our shoes were sticky and covered in, what felt like, oil. It was disgusting. Everything about this place was horrible. Horrible customer service.

Went for lunch, there were four things on the menu, I got the shrimp, the shrimp was expensive and the portion was okay, not great though. They also did not hand out a menu that contained drinks. I had asked if they served tea, seeing that that is a big thing in japanese and asian culture, however they only served unsweetened and raspberry. No hot tea. At the end of my meal, I had asked for fried icecream, because it happened to be on the menu at the sushi bar where we had sat, and they said that they werent serving that currently. It was a place that I wouldnt really recomend to anyone. I had heard great things but I was let down. The Orient on mainstreet is much better.

Dont waste your money on this place. The owner/manager (?) is a miserable human being and is very aggressive towards his customers. I asked a couple of questions and he told me he thought my talk was "aggressive"....hardly, I was just asking if there would be an addition wait considering we had a reservation, his response was "what are you worried about? You have a reservation dont you?" Then be became aggressive and told me I was being aggressive towards him. Other reviews here show this persons instability, so avoid this place at all costs. Kobi is another 15 min down the road...go there instead.

Absolutely every detail was awful! Cook was rude, got orders wrong, waited for drinks, used dishes werent removed, was given check before they even asked if we wanted another drink ( the message was, hurry up and eat then hurry up and leave) I actually undertipped, which I NEVER do! People come to this type of place for the whole experience if it, but this place has sloppy service, rude employees and a git em in, git em out attitude. Its not cheap, save your bucks for an establishment that appreciates your business

Even going into the restaurant rude and felt rush. I rather go to the one in Annapolis been there several times with my girlfriends and it was excllent or somewhere else down the road.

The manager sat us and then realized we were waiting for two more people in our party of twelve to join us. The two we were waiting on were only 5 minutes away from the resturant. Instead of letting the party get started he commanded the table to stand up and go back to the waiting area while yelling at us. I thought his behavior was rude and unnecessary.
