I like the food. We eat out about 5 nights a week and did go to Bob Evans frequently since my granddaughters like the food even though the service has gotten progressively worse. On Sunday July 26th 4 of us, granddaughters included went in for Dinner. The man seating us took us to a dirty booth even though there were at least 8 clean booths in different areas. He then got a soaking wet cloth and wiped off the table throwing the food on the seat and missing a lot of food. When I said something about the food on the seat and end of the table he wiped the seat and left it and the table WET. I asked for a cloth to dry the table and seat and he went and got a handful of napkins and wiped part of the table. After he finished and started to leave I took the left over napkins and wiped the table and seats so we could sit down. We ordered simple chicken tenders and meatloaf. The resturant was not at all busy. We waited 25 minutes for food. Were not asked if we wanted refills on drinks or was everything ok. When we left to pay the man that sat us was standing behind the front counter around the side a little and did not come out to get our check nor acknowledge that we were waiting for quite some time. We will not be returning. There are to many places to eat that care for their customers and care about the service they receive.

This was a typical visit that we have experienced here lately. Restaurant was mostly empty. Took 14 minutes to place a to-go order with one person in line in front of us. Order of a turkey dinner and chicken Cobb salad took 44 minutes to prepare (was told that the chicken was the hold up). Restaurant was still almost empty when we left one hour after arriving. Order was wrong when we got home: biscuits instead of rolls and no cranberry sauce with the turkey dinner. Turkey dinner was mostly cold from sitting on the counter for more than 30 minutes waiting for the salad to be completed. The food itself was well-prepared, and they did provide us with a full jar of salad dressing. I had asked the manager before we left if there was a problem with the kitchen (short on staff, etc) and she replied, "No, they are just slow tonight." We like a lot of the dishes they prepare, but this has been a common occurrence lately and we have been limiting our visits to when we have time and patience to spare.

Generally the food at this place is pretty good but I will have to say the service is hit-or-miss it depends on the person that serving you and what mood theyre in how good of the service you get how quickly you are attended to and how you are treated. I have gone there several times and once ordered have never seen a server again or only seen them too when I call them for special request if they were walking by. One time the server never return not even with our bill I had to walk up to the counter and pay my bill. Of course they didnt know who I was what table I said that word it waited on me I had to go down to the table and point to it so they would know which person they needed to speak to to get my bill so again it just depends on whos serving whos working at any particular time how you will be treated at this restaurant

Our Mothers Day breakfast was ruined by a waitress (Amber) that did not communicate that there was problems in the kitchen. We knew that Mothers Day was going to be busy but she instead let us sit there for an hour and 15 mins with our 4 kids. It wasnt until we started complaining that she then told us that one of the cooks walked out. I was so looking forward to an easy breezy Mothers Day off with out cooking but that DID NOT HAPPEN. Argggh!

My family have been going here for 8 years now every Saturday at 8am. The servers are extremely polite, especially Karen and her sister we get Karen everything. The food is always perfect, and they welcome big groups, my group ranges from 4-14 and usually on the higher side. Just a suggestion if you group is 8 or more ask for Karen, she is a phenomenal waitress, perfect memory and always has a cheerful attitude, she treats you like family.

I like a lot of the entrees at Bob Evans, especially their bean soup. Well tonight was my first experience ordering online for pick up. I was shocked to see the size of the bowl. I ordered the bowl size but it looked more like the cup size. Looked nothing like the bowl size I get in the restaurant. Plus, I hardly had any beans, more broth than anything. Dont get me wrong, I like Bob Evans I was just disappointed in the quantity.

Great place to go! Service is always great and the manager always greets the customers and employees when entering the facility. Wait time is speedy for food, servers always walking around greeting guests and refilling coffee cups. Very family oriented and I recommend it for great quality, clean environment, great food, and very friendly. Its worth the over 1 hour drive from DC.

The service was ok till we went to get the check. Took over 20mm ok minutes to get it. Than when we complained about it to the manager he said should had just come up if we were in a hurry. Well we were not on a hurry but 20 m I minutes just to pay. Food was good but do not know how to cook a omelette he sausage outside instead of inside the omelette.

It took about as long as you would expect to be seated considering the lobby was full. The big problem was it took 57 minutes from the time we got seated and placed our order until we got our food. Then on top of that it was cold, not like warmish but cold. Just to finish it off the service was not good, Ive seen worse but it was terrible.

Decided to give them another shot today. Seated quickly, but drinks and food took forever, then came cold and incorrect. Waitress took 15 min to refill my drink the one time I asked, then finally brought back regular instead of diet - I gave up at that point.

Service was slow. Our server didnt bring everything we asked for when he came to the table. He had to keep going back to the kitchen for things we asked for. The breakfast food is good. Their new beverage glasses are too small especially with slow service.

The food is always good but service is hit miss. Just like always if the server is good then the experience is generally good. Something as simple as a server having a bed day can ruin the whole meal. Today the service has been okay so far.

Ordered, sat there for over an hour before being told our food was in the window and ready, it would be a minute or two until it would be brought to us. 30 minutes later, we got cold ass, nasty food. Will not be going back ever

The turkey dinner stringy, stuffing too much and not enough turkey, cranberry sauce funky, stale and disgusting better of out of a can..2015 FYI never serve food that looks bad before it leaves the kitchen...
