Ive worked food service for over 20 years, and I have very mixed feelings about this place. Ive only gotten delivery so I cant comment on the building or service, but I can give some insight on the food. Some days, its fantastic. The ingredients look and taste fresh, the quality and presentation is excellent. Then, there are other days where it looks as if the product was left out all day and the food was lazily thrown together. Theres almost no consistency in regards to the ingredients on the pizzas. Either they are generous with the toppings, or you get what looks like a cheese pizza with a few stray pieces of other toppings. Several times, I paid for lamb meat on my Greek pizza only to receive 5 small pieces of chopped lamb that looked thrown on like an afterthought. The drivers are always nice, and Ive never had a problem except once. My tab was $33 and that included a $4 tip, but the driver walked away after I handed him $40 and gave me a weird look when I called him back to get my change. I enjoy the food enough that Ill continue to order from them, but theyre more of a last resort when my family and I are tired of everything else.

The website sucks. None of the prices match up. For example the meatloaf was supposed to be 8.99 but when I added it to my cart the price magically changed to 10.99. Just phone in your order if you want to be charged correctly. The food sucks. $6 for a cheeseburger with a frozen patty instead of fresh beef and it doesnt even include french fries? What the hell. My husband got a philly cheesesteak, which is apparently just meat on a dry bun, no mayo no cheese. The service sucks. I dont think the delivery driver said a single word to me, but he sure did stare at me like he had never seen a human being in his entire life. I have no idea what his issue was but he stood there looking at me like I was an alien until I finally took the food out of his hands and shut the door in his face because he wouldnt respond to anything I was saying. "Hi, Hello, Are you from Sunrise? That looks like our food..." Dont order from here, all around bad experience.

Every .Single. Time. ive ever placed an order here something goes wrong . There average wait time is over 45 minutes. They dont keep track of orders. I ordered a gyro last night, chicken to be exact . So they send me a beef & lamb gyro which I will not eat . So I called back & had the right one sent out ... an hour later. The driver then proceeded to ask for the old one back claiming the kitchen said they made it right... calling me a liar right to my face. But when i called back, the lady that took my order claimed she didnt even hear chicken so how could they have made it right when she didnt even place the right order?!?! Needless to say, there customer service sucks , something alwars wrong with the food and the pricing. Im done ordering from this place, Wont happen again.

This review is not about the food, as we order from here quite frequently. However, it is about their customer service... We ordered our food at 7.15pm and waited over an hour for delivery, after being told it would be 45 minutes. We received a call from the employee delivering our food because he was lost. After giving further instructions to our house, we called sunrise just asking for our order to be cancelled as we didnt want cold food. The woman who answered had an awful tone and claimed she was sure it would be here soon and would not be cold. Our food showed up another 15 minutes after that call.. Cold. The woman who answered had no care for the situation, so because of her poor customer service skills, we will no longer be ordering from here.

Ordered from here many times, excellent customer service over the phone but cooks must be incompetent. Every time I order the country fried steak, I order it seperate because it takes an hour to get here I order the steak separately from the mash potatoes and everytime they cant seem to understand the concept that I dont want the steak to be soggy. And on top of that they give me less mash potatoes then normal and this time they completely left out an order of mash potatoes. Then to top it off the driver dosent have the correct change so he got a seven dollar tip for a messed up order missing food. Love the food and the receptionists but the drivers and cooks will bring this place down if they keep them.

I am a regular customer at the Sunrise Pizzeria in the Aragona Shopping Center located on Virginia Beach Boulevard. I went there on 04/15/16 to have lunch. I placed my order and I waited 25 minutes to get my meal. I have never waited that long for any food being ordered in a restaurant. I felt the timing of receiving your food was very poor customer service. I told the waitress that was not acceptable service and left. I will not be returning to their establishment. The manager was there and he was too busy looking at the to go order bags on the counter. I feel they need to do better in the quality of time serving their customer.

Food is good, customer service is crap and half the time they mess your order up. Im sure this is bs but I just placed an order (an hr before closing so its not like they were about to leave) and the woman told me that if there was anything wrong with my order that I would not be able to return or change anything after it was given to me. The website and menu said my dinner wb 11.99 and it was actually 14.99.

Speedy delivery, great customer service over the phone and from the drivers and a menu of considerable variety. Ive tried several items from the menu (calzones, pizza, Texas BBQ burger and Philly steaks to name a few) and have not been disappointed yet. This has been my households go-to delivery place for a while. Weve yet to find anything except positive things to say about it!

Rude employees!! The menus and website say one price then when you order they bump the price up $4-5 and refuse to honor price on menu and website. Good food but expensive for such small portions and the woman that answers the phone told me that if they mess your order up youre not allowed to take it back and have them correct it. I wont be going back mostly for the last reason.

Love this place! Every order we have placed has arrived quickly and correctly. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Last night, we ordered ravioli, a meatball sub, and the newly added tiramisu. The hot stuff was hot, and the tiramisu was cold and flavorful. I highly recommend this place for Italian dishes and desert!

Food was delicious and good portions. A little pricey but we will definitely order again. I like the variety on the menu. Delivery was quick and the guy was nice. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend them.

The Italian wrap is my go to from sunrise. Its always so delicious! And the delivery drivers are always so friendly. If they happen to be running a little late theyll send you a text letting you know!
