The service is amazing!!!! Its a smaller restaurant, but the food shines against any bigger fine dining restaurant that I have eaten at in Annapolis. The waitress answered in detail any questions we had along with a recomendation when I asked. The special for the night was Lobster Risotto, and special it was!!!! They use the claw meat and cook it into the Risotto and then top the HUGE serving with a large very tender and great tastng lobster tail. They do a special $35 four course meal, you can pick any appetizer, the house salad, any Entree including the special, and any desert on the menu. If you enjoy desert you HAVE to try the Apple Streussel desert with Vanilla Ice Cream, it will change your life, it takes 15 min since they make it fresh, but I would wait 30 min!!!!!! Cant wait to go back and try something new for dinner, but I will stick with the desert!!!!!!

My lady and I sat down and immediately ordered our glasses of wine. When the waitress, Erin, returned with our drinks, she asked for our orders. I asked for a few minutes to look at the menu, I asked about specials. Before I could finish my sentence Erin informed us that the restaurant was overbooked - our table had to "turnover in 45 minutes" - and we needed to order immediately. NEVER in decades of dining out have I been so rudely treated. I appreciate the hard work and long hours waiters and waitresses put in. However, Erin, there is no excuse for your unprofessional behavior. And to the owner of Luna Blue, only when Erin is no longer employed at your restaurant will I return. As for the food - average at best.

My latest venture to Luna Blu occurred over this past weekend. I took my girlfriend to dinner here (her/our favorite spot) and had 6 other people with us. The food was excellent, the service was excellent...everybody really enjoyed themselves. We never felt rushed even though it was during "primetime" on a Saturday evening. Everybody ordered the 4-course special and each course was spaced out appropriately. My girlfriend and I have been here on several other occasions as well and were never let down. The window seat is the prime spot in the house! :) Thank you, Luna Blu, for yet another great evening!

I live and work in the Annapolis area. I love this restaurant. I eat at Luna Blu every chance I get and I am always excited to share this find with anyone who appreciates good food. I have never had a bad lunch or dinner and the service is always top notch. Erin, the owner is one of the hardest working owners I have ever seen. Her creativity with the menu and weekly specials are spectacular. Do yourself a favor and give Luna Blu a shot. I guarantee you will return again and again.

Its not that the food is bad. Its just that its not good. It was adequetly cooked bland food. The service was ok but obviously tailored to regulars and suits! The Fried green tomatoes were well cooked but had little flavor. I thought, well, the execution was good, maybe its just not the season. Everything else was cooked fine but needed seasoning! And lots of it. Not terrible, just not very good. Like I said...blah...

Went out to dinner on New Year’s Eve, expected great Italian food what i got was frozen risotto balls which was followed by lobster ravioli which had a shell in each one. Then to top it all off frozen dessert. This restaurant has good heart buy sadly is charging $50.00 per person and giving customers food that is not being made fresh. Would never go back again service was slow decor was all over the place.

We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant however the waitress kept us waiting for everything a long time. So long that even when we asked for the check saying we needed to get to our show she still did not hurry -- we were late and could not get in until intermission. Maybe because we were a party of 6 and they automatically add 20% tip, she really did drag her feet - who knows why.

Will probably score some points taking her here on "cuteness." It is afterall a small Italian place in downtown Annapolis. Not as nice inside as youd expect. Decor and finish a little worn, especially given that their prices are a bit higher than average. Food was ok, but not great. Service was good - or at least we had a nice waitress. But it was very slow, so they had no excuse.

I want to love this place, I really do. The service is attentive and friendly and very welcoming. The food is... just okay. The menu is far too large and some items are obviously prepped ahead of time. I wish theyd focus their attention on the dishes they do best and trim down the selections by at least half. If you want a homemade Italian dinner, this isnt a terrible place to go.

The food was wonderful, and the service outstanding. The place seems like a regular haunt as many of the customers knew the waitresses by name, having said that, the service was great and even though they didnt have a kids menu (or high chairs), the servers suggestions for what to get our kids were spot on. Not a place for you kids, but 7 and over should be fine.

Ate there for the second time last night. Definitely in my top five for food in Annapolis. Im usually the kind of person who tries to balance cost and quality but I make an exception for Luna Blu. Its a little more than I typically spend but very much worth it. Would have taken pictures but it was Valentines Day so I left at home. Terrific meal.

Was very disappointed with this place. Came here on a date. Our food was over priced. 2 of the 3 scallops in my seafood pasta were bad. I pointed this out to the waitress who did nothing to correct this. I was still expected to pay full price for a dish that I could not eat. Definitely will NOT be returning to this place.

Christmas Eve Dinner was great! The escargot appetizer was delicious, the salad fresh and tasty, the veal dishes tender and accompanied by pasta perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was as good as my homemade. For $35 per 4 courses it was a wonderful value. We are already planning our return. Thank you, Erin.

The food was good. It wasnt the best Italian food Ive ever had but it was alright. The bread was hot out of oven and very good dipped in olive oil. Service was alright. My only complaint is that the menus or the restaurant smelled kind of funny. I couldnt figure out what it was but it was a definite odor.

We will recommend Luna Blu to our friends...we tried your restaurant on a wonder deal voucher. We didnt know about your establishment before. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Our waitress was very pleasant. Dinner was a DIVINE experience. We will return in the future, with guests. Thank you.

Bland, bland, bland. My husband got chicken penne, and I got scampi fettuccine. The food had very little seasoning, and even my garlic sauce didnt taste like garlic. The only flavor I got was from the grose water. Not recommended, and not worth the $25 plate. But I will say it did have a nice atmosphere.
