Easily my favorite sushi restaurant to order from. Quality is excellent and pieces are larger than you would get elsewhere. Cost is good. When ordering by phone, a little disappointed that I usually order 20-30 minutes before I arrive and it is not ready. But there is really no other place Id rather get sushi from if you are going for straight up fish. Definitely agree with a previous review though that the few times I have eaten in house, the server is glued to his phone.

Just Had a wonderful meal here and cant get over just how charming the experience was all of the food was spot on and the service was good as well. you can tell they take pride in there food and service. The wait was not nearly as bad as I expected after reading the other reviews "I mean really" hand made food takes time and love. something I find priceless personally. Well be back soon for sure!

Been a customer for 7 years... if youre looking for sushi in Southern Maine, this is the only place I recommend! Fresh ingredients filled with so much flavor, unlike all the other sushi around! Service can be slow as the owner is the only chef, but definitely worth the wait! Never had the other dishes, just the appetizers and AMAZING sushi that keeps us coming back! Dont miss this place!!

If I was speaking solely on the Sushi, its 6/5 stars. Freshest fish, rice is perfect, more fish than filler in the Maki; just exceptional. Having said that, the service is slow and not all around great. Staff is very friendly just not speedy or very attentive. If you go there solely on wanting the best sushi in town, then dealing with the sub-par service wont be too much of a hindrance.

Super slow service... we had 4 kids with us and 1 got their food 20 minutes before anyone else at the table. The rest of us got our food at different times over the next hour and a half. Food was good. Sushi was very good but too many mars on the service side...The only reason I gave them 2 stars is their were only 2 people working there and I felt bad.

Hanabi is a Korean-Japanese restaurant serving great Sushi and other dishes. Unlike a chain restaurant, this small business is very personal with a very nice owner on site. Service can be slow because it is small, but the quality is very good and certainly worth trying. I would like to see their business thrive with good patronage. Try the Kim Chee!

This is the best sushi I have ever had. I have been going here for four years, and the sushi is always fresh and well prepared. The salmon and tuna are perfect. Dont go in a rush, as there is one sushi chef and she makes everything from scratch. I promise her art is well worth it though. I bring all of my guests visiting Maine to eat here.

Gross. If you like Korean food DO NOT go here, you will be extremely disappointed. If you want to try Korean food because you have never had it, DO NOT go here it will be the worst experience; you will never want to try REAL Korean food after you eat here. Sloppy. Worst Korean food I have ever had.

100% agree with the other reviews. Best sushi around and the Korean dishes are amazing. She is truly an artist. However the service is slow and he is glued to his phone and seems he wants to be anywhere but there. But the food is amazing.

Great sushi (slow service). The spicy fried chicken was essentially gochujang on dark meat pieces, but still pretty good. Looking to try the other chicken flavors. (If youre not into Korean fried chicken, you should be)

Fabulous food, excellent service. We look forward to coming back every time we are in the area. Our daughter is a picky eater and she cant get enough of the chicken teriyaki.

The best sushi place Ive found in Southern Maine. Really good quality. Restaruant is a little small but the sushi makes up for it

Sushi was good - especially for Maine. Service was really slow. Prices were a bit on the high side, but not detrimentally so.

$66 for one person and that was with the discount. Its not worth it. The food is just ok, actually I would say it subpar.
