We went to Inaho on August 14th, 2011. The cousine is exceptional. We ordered an excellent hijiki salad. It came warm and in good quantity. The special appetizer was battered scallops on a stick. Three sticks, three scallops each. We oredered a beef teryaki dinner, and a chicken teriaki combo. The meat is organic. The beef was cooked all the way through and very tender. The chicken was very moist and flavorful. All are generous portions at an equitable price for a fine dining experience. The desert was unbelievable. We ordered a flourless chocolate cake. It was very fresh, moist and delicious. It came with a side of vanilla ice cream. We are from NYC. In New York we ate at many similar places but, the food was quite ordinary. At Inaho the food was fantastic. However, I would say that the overall atmosphere of a fun dinner was ruined by a mentally unstable barrista who mans the bar on thursdays. Stay away from her if you want to have a fun time. She nearly ruined our experience.

After having received several personal recommendations and having read a lot of excellent reviews (best sushi in the world, best restaurant on the cape, etc. ...) I went there with sky high expectations. And, what can I say, I left somehow disappointed... It started with a rushed and not very welcoming hello at the entrance, went on with a not very nicely prepared table (some stains, cheap chopsticks), continued with a wobbly table and ended with a long waiting time for each dish. Service was in general not attentive. I dont say anything against the quality of the food, on the contrary. The freshness of the fish is second to none and all dishes were very tasty. However, from a sushi / sashimi dinner in such a place I expect more than the usual salmon, tuna, white fish combinations. Nothing extraordinary, no selection of special fishes or anything like that. I was just expecting a more professional dining experience and a higher wow factor after all the hype.

I am from Japan and Inaho is one of the favorite Japanese restaurants across the US. Inaho has traditional Japanese food but also have unique original dishes which are carefully and meticulously cooked. I visit this restaurant every summer with family from mid-west! Restaurant is casual and very popular and crowded with long waiting, which reminds me Tokyo! If we want really good food, we dont mind waiting in big line, if table servers are not coming to you, raise your hand and call "sumimasen!"

We treat Inaho as our special occasion restaurant. We have eaten here at least 20 times over ten years, and we have never been disappointed. The fish is the freshest available and the sushi chefs are masterful. The prices are steep, but the quality is unsurpassed. Our adult son so looks forward to eating at Inaho that they stayed open a little longer when he was delayed arriving from New York. The wait staff is professional and attentive.

The most arrogant, unfriendly service on Cape Cod! Having eaten in hundreds of authentic Japanese restaurants around the world, and in most restaurants on Cape Cod, the attitude from the hostess, bar tender, servers, and even the owner was so disappointing. The WORST attitude and the food was not exceptional or worth anything close to the very inflated price! Inaho has lost its grip on both the food and the service. Chow Carlo.

Inaho is an experience all on its own. The sushi is really good, and the meals were delicious, but I do agree with other users that the prices seem a little inflated. However, we did not have any problems with the service that others seem to have had, and the atmosphere was nice. The food is authentic Japanese, so if you are more familiar with other Asian cuisine, this might not be the place for you.

When eating at the restaurant, the service is wonderful. But trying to order out is impossible and the person answering the phone is ALWAYS rude. When you do finally get your order in, the food is never ready when you arrive - having to wait an hour before it is ready. NOT WORTH THE WAIT!

If you are into Japanese food and especially sushi, Inaho is difficult to match.....not only here on Cape Cod, but just about anywhere. Always exceptionally fresh, beautifully presented and consistently excellent. It is simply the best of the best.

Gets high marks for being the best sushi on the Cape, but theres not a lot of competition. A couple special rolls and then your typical standards found everywhere. Nice to see a selection of hand rolls on the menu.

Absolutely amazing sushi. The fish melts in your mouth and their rolls are so unique and flavorful. Service was lacking. Our server had no personality and sounded like she was ill which is not appetizing.

I live in Manhattan as well as Cape Cod and this is the freshest, most genuine and best cuts of sushi Ive ever had. I have a house not too far away and try to come as much as possible.

Hand rolls were pretty good. Red dragon sushi were tasty. I dont recommend their yellowtail sashimi nor the tempura. Low effort vegetable tempura. For the price I expected better.

Really Disappointing experience here. It seems that the chef or the owners are concerned with not upsetting anyone and the flavor is sorely missing.
