02/28/15 I went to B.Good with a friend on Sat night around 7pm Exchange St. in Portland. A young woman named Jazz took our order. She was very friendly yet I did have to repeat my order to her a couple of times. I ordered the Roasted Avocado and Curry Salad with no dressing and no mint yogurt sauce. I cannot have most dressings and cannot have any dairy. I did add chicken to it. My friend placed his order. We sat in the front window and the food came out quickly. My salad had yogurt sauce on it so I asked that it be returned. By this time it was getting a bit busy. My salad was remade and brought out to me. This time it had dressing and no chicken on it. I had to bring it back up and explain the reasoning behind it. I was told to leave the bowl on the counter so I did however I was ignored by the employees behind the counter. I walked back over to my chair ans waited for someone to stop by. After 10 minutes I went back to the counter and asked for the name of a manager. I was given a name, Bill, and nothing else, no question of, " Is there something I can do for you?" or anything like that. I sat back down and fiven minutes later a young man came up and asked me to show him my order ticket. I didnt have one, only my $37. credit card receipt. Again I wasnt asked what happened, if they would credit my account or make me another order or anything else. I walked out with having dinner and paying for a meal I didnt eat. I will most likely not return there from such a bad experience.

Got the jalapeno burger and couldnt taste any jalapeno whatsoever. Also the bun doesnt match the burger in size so you have huge areas of empty bun. My wife likes to cut hers in half before she eats them and she ended up with a half a bun that turned out to have no burger inside it. Combine the small patty with the huge amount of veggie slaw on it and instead of something that feels like a hot burger you have something that feels like a cold sandwich with a weird warm spot in the middle. Makes for a very weird mouthfeel that is kind of unsettling. Went with 3 stars instead of 1 just because the building was nice, the service was fine, and it looked like the salads they served were probably pretty good. Maybe go there if you want a salad but they should advertise it as a salad place and not as a healthy version of fast food if their fast-food choices clearly arent a focus for them.

First off, Im writing this review while on the toilet, because thats right where their food sent me..I read good reviews, but I have my own review to write..I ordered the West Chicken Burger, and it was cold..The french fries were also cold and had been sitting for at least an hour..I asked for a fresh batch and the guy said itd be at least ten minutes(really?)..My stomach has been making sounds that it has never made before and Im sure Ill spend the rest of the evening on the throne..Go somewhere else..Did I mention I saw a drug deal between an employee and his dealer..? That part takes the cake.

First impression: not good. The downstairs bathroom was absolutely filthy - I have seen cleaner bathrooms at gas stations. The 2 upstairs bathrooms were only a little better. All three had trash overflowing and were just dirty. The tables were not being cleaned. Then when food was delivered, the server wondered where my salad was. Still dont know where he found it. Taste was ok. Wont be going back.

So impressed. Local, sustainably sourced fast food? AWESOME. It exceeded our expectations. Servings arent huge, but neither are we, no need to over eat people!! Fresh ingredients, and beet ginger lemonade!!! Cant beat that. Staff were super cool, located right on Exchange, fun to people watch and eat your burger at the same time. Love this place, hope it sticks around and catches on more!!

I could not disagree more with the review that said the burgers and food were "bland" - they are anything but. All the meat is flavorful and enhanced with wonderful additions. The staff is friendly. Its nice to know youre eating local, real food, rendered so tasty. Overall I absolutely LOVE b.good and go there as often as I can!

I got a veggie west-side burger and headed upstairs to listen to live music. My food was ready very quickly, the staff was super friendly, and it had a very relaxed vibe. My burger was very tasty, and Id highly recommend b.good. The food tasted fresh, the restaurant was clean. I had no complaints!

Staffed by teenagers so obviously some carelessness with the order ensued. If you get someones order wrong then maybe dirty looks and exasperation are the wrong way to handle the situation. The ingredients were fresh, unfortunately some of the flavor combinations were completely lacking.

Delicious food, generous portions, with vegan options clearly marked (thank you!). I live in Waterville, but its totally worth the trip down to Portland to visit again. They have free wifi and an app so you can order ahead. If youre into smoothies, the Acai Berry is a winner.

The flavor just isnt there. For the cost, Id rather go somewhere else. The staff always seem rushed & forgetful. I love the idea of locally sourced, but when its not that great tasting it feels like a disservice to the farmers who provided the food.

I love this place! I make sure to eat here whenever Im in Portland. I have a limited diet and there are so many healthy options for me here! I also love that they have a book at the table with all the ingredients of almost everything on their menu.

Overpriced and bland food. Spent $26 for 2 fries 2 burgers and 1 milkshake. The burgers had no rich flavor (it was just meat flavor). The fries were plain as well. The milkshake was very food atleast! Would not recommend this place.

Each time I visit b.good, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is amazing and filling, and the atmosphere is all around comfortable. I recommend them to anyone insterested in a delicious and healthy meal prepared in a timely manner!

The bathroom was filthy, the food was just mediocre, it was very expensive for a family of 4, and there were flies all around the food on the prep station. This was our first time at any b.good location. This was not a good impression.

The atmosphere was not good. When I was having my salad, insect fell on my food which was a bad experience. The good part about this the customer service is very good and they gave back my money. Please take care of your surroundings.

We love b. goods veggie burgers! They are really tasty vegan patties with yummy toppings. I love the West Side. Fries are great when theyve cooked them long enough. I only wish they offered vegan mayo and more vegan bowls.
