terrible terrible place :( seats are terrible all beat up and should of been replaced years ago... terrible service when i went :( no one was there and yet i had to constantly wait for a waiter.... i went in about 330pm and wanted to order from their lunch special combination plate which ended at 4pm, after i asked if i could order from there, i was told yes but after 4 i would be charged more..... our waitress took so long to get me a drink and after bringing me the drink she leaves when i was ready to order.... when she finally came back into view of us it was after 4pm so i was charged the extra money..... after ordering we got a plate filled with Slime..... we told them we will not eat that, it is not what we wanted....our waitress talked to the owner who said "well have they even tried it" ummmmmmmmm its not what we wanted why the hell do i need to eat the plate of SLIME..... we ask for our check and talk to the owner...we ask if the Slime plate can be taken off, the owner said no, then we are told "its not my fault you dont know what you ordered" ummm actually it is... you have no images on your menu, and from my past knowledge of ordering chow mein is not crumbs of won ton and slime.... it is thicker white noodles. then he also tells us "well what do you want me to do about it" helloooooooo i told you what i wanted you to do about it.... take off the $6 something for the slime plate we never wanted.... terrible..... just plain old rude and wrong.... a few hours after eating there my stomach started to feel terrible and the vomiting and cramping in my stomach started :( never eating there again :(

I use to love the Jade. To be honest Im pretty sure for a long time it was in fact the best Chinese food around, however time has not bee kind to the Jade and I have watched as the quality of the food has steadily gone down hill. Things like booths rugs and decorations have not been replaced since I was a child. twenty years of eating their food and I know that it is no longer anywhere close to what it had once been. Truthfully youre better off going somewhere else and Im sure the experience would be better. Also they continue to put msg in their food. For anyone who has an allergy to it youre better off not even trying. I have developed an allergy and despite the menu saying they can special order your food without msg they really cant. Most of the batter and rice are made in bulk so special ordering almost anything is impossible. At least thats what the waitress told me.

Great chinese food, my wife and I have always enjoyed going here. I would say its the best chinese within 50 miles. The prices are fair, and the waiters/waitresses are helpful. (The also make great drinks!) The atmosphere is their only down fall. Its dark and antiquated. It could use a small face lift. Just remember, your going there for the food, not for the scenery!

The food is very poor tastes like 5 hour old buffet food. The service is rude and the food over priced. The restraunt it self is dirty and dingy just a gross atmosphere.I drive 20miles out of my way to go to the oriental pearl in presque isle food is not the greatest but the sushi bar is worth the trip I give there sushi bar 4 star for being the only one up here.

This place needs a thorough scrubbing. Windows need cleaning, wall hangings are so old that theyve faded badly. Would it kill you to vacuum once a month? All food here is mud brown with two isolated exceptions: the Oreos and jello on the buffet.

We live all the way in Mapleton. And we travel to Caribou when ever we want to eat Chinese food because its the best we have in Aroostook county. Cant comment on the buffet cause we have never tried it. We dont eat buffet at any restaurant.
