Ive eaten at Zen once, but gotten takeout a handful of times. When I ate there the server was obviously new, but did an OK enough job other than taking forever to take our order. The food that time was really good. As far as take out, I always get pad thai. Once it was really really good, then a couple of times it was OK, but when I got it last night, it was disgusting. The noodles were overcooked, and even the onion greens had turned to a green slimy mush. I had ordered it spicy, but there was absolutely zero spice to it. I ate under a quarter of it before I just couldnt force myself to eat more. I felt completely ripped off. I will probably try them once again because I have actually had good food there, but if I get a disgusting mess like this again, it will be the last I order from Zen.

Have eaten here numerous times over the last few months and have not had a bad meal yet. Good service, comfortable surroundings and great food, thats what you get here. Ive had the curries, duck choo chee, pad kee mow and chicken lemongrass. 5 stars every time whether its been eat in or take out. Certainly worth a visit and i dont think youll be disappointed

The first time I went was shortly after they first opened and the sushi was treacherous, however since then I tried their fried dumplings and absolutely loved them so whenever Im at work, just across the road, I will order dumplings for takeout. Also I LOVE their raspberry lemonade; I wish I could get an order of that to go too.

Okay for take out. Food is always good. The servers are ridiculous. Every time weve gone we get the feeling we are simply bothering them. Some people at our table had their food, others in our same party didnt even have a drink yet. Will never go back.

I love reading reviews for places. I feel like the negative reviews are more about the customer and not the restaurant in this case. The food was tasty, and my waitress was attentive and pleasant. Ill be back.

This place is amazing. Not only is the sushi awesome. Everything else was too. The calamari is probably the best in town. Lots of places in Bangor have mediocre calamari but Zens is top notch!!!

Love the Pad Thai, spring rolls and pork dumplings!!! Ohhhh and the Thai Tea is delish!
