My husband and I come to this location at least once a week. We love this place, lately the experience has gone down hill. Once we found a hair in my food they sent out another plate and I still found a hair in the new plate. Gave them another try, it wasnt to busy and ended up waiting 30 minutes for our food, when people around us who were sat after we were and had thier orders taken after ours, got their food before we did. Ive never had to wait that long for food before, when we asked the waitress what took so long she said and I quote "Im not sure" really come on now.

Just finished waiting 15 minutes for our server to clear the table, then bring us menus. My fiancee got what looks to be the worst hashbrowns ever... On the upside, the chocolate waffle looks edible. Nevermind, she just confirmed it was the worst waffle shes ever had. Finished 1/4 of it. Now I have my food and these are the soggiest, most bland hashbrowns Ive ever had the displeasure to taste. The patty melt is okay. The waitress came over, voided the check and we left. That was very sweet of her so this isnt an entire loss.

If you ever find yourself on this side of Louisiana you would do well to take a detour to Walker and stop into this fine establishment. Great food and even better people. Dont be turned off by the casual feel and down home attitude of this joint. Your coffee cup will stay fresh and full, and the waffles are to die for! You wont find this type of home cooked fare in the standard corporate places that seem to populate Baton Rouge these days. One of the last remaining true southern diners!

Called plenty of enough times to place a to go order, and the phone just kept ringing. Would have just went somewhere else but considering the fact that I am pregnant, the baby was craving Waffle House so I kept trying and it kept ringing. So finally just decided to go there and order there instead, and there is nothing but 2 customers and you telling me you cant answer the phone? I took my money elsewhere going against my cravings because I rather take my hard earn cash someplace else.

Great place to eat if you love people cleaning and stacking dishes right in front of you. Do you love cleaning and loudly stacking dishes, but hate the manual labor involved? If so, youll love eating here! ***update*** Feeling a bit sick now, now Im hungry again.

waffle house is for the most part, pretty good. but there food is usually a hit or miss some mornings iv had waffle house and the food and service was absolutly ggreat and other times it was just terrible i do recommend trying waffle house if you never have though.
