La Yunta has FLAVOR!! The other Mexican spots in Mandeville better take notice. La Yuntas menu is full of dishes that have deep flavor. The steak is spiced with generous amounts of actual Mexican flavor components and NOT overcooked to a dry, tough mess. The salsa tastes fresh and bright, the chicken and pork dishes are equally flavorful and delicious. Some of the other spots in town rely on the bland American palate to get by. La Yunta does everything better. Its like black and white vs HD color TV. This is our goto spot for Mexican from now on. Pro tip- if you want a bit of extra spice, ask for a side of the chile de arbol sauce (diablo sauce) with your entree. That stuff is outstanding!! But get it on the side until you have come to grips with the heat...

Im from Texas and would totally make the drive to eat and drink here! Had The Brazero and A strawberry mint margarita and OMG It was the Bomb! Very tasty and fulfilling! My daughter also had the churros and ice cream desert and LOVED IT! The staff is very friendly! Will def come back!
