Bill is the next! 10.01.16 we decided to give this place another try. About four or five months ago we were here for the first time and it was less than acceptable. Although his food was great I had some issues with mine. Did I get to address any of the issues with the waitress? No. Because she flat out didnt care. We were the only people in the entire restaurant and she initially said its right next to the bathroom. I immediately requested to be sent somewhere else and not to be shoved in the corner and forgotten about. Was that said we decided to return give it another shot because the locals do you highly recommend this place. I had the carne asada tacos and little lettuce wraps and they were just out of this world! I was only disappointed in the fact that there were three and not 30 of them ;) Im not good at sharing but I did give one up for hubby, he fell in love too. He had the short rib cannot remember the name on the menu but that too was very delicious. Im pretty picky when it comes to food, especially tacos, because I think I make the best lol but these tacos are at a whole different level. Our waiter was Bill. Bill single-handedly solidified us as loyal, returning customers! He went above and beyond with his service! I told him before we left about our first visit, he was very sad to hear about it but told us about some staff that had to be let go. His drink recommendations were perfect for both of us; almost like weve known him for years. My only complaint is the salsa trio... I love salsa. Love it. I will not order their salsa again, flavors were all off, nothing fit, felt like they tried too hard on such a simple thing. Thats just my opinion tho! Well be back Bill! Thanks so much for the 5 star service and hospitality!!!! Kisses to the cook too :)

The overall appearance of the restaurant is nice, lots of mosaic candle holders & a clean womens bathroom. This a tapas style dining experience so the servings are small. The food is not authentic at all to any Latin country. We started off with the guacamole & chips. The guacamole needed salt & lime, so we asked & our server gave it to us. The chips were tiny tostadas with lots of paprika on them. The camarones were the best dish! We ordered two after we finished the 1st plate (small portions). We also ordered the black beans which needed salt along with the salsa. The carne asada had a bland taste but was cooked well, again small serving so if youre craving meat go somewhere else. Overall the food is a two star rating but I have an extra star for our server Sheena, she was great!!

Fun decor, friendly and knowledgeable waiter, fantastic margaritas, and delicious food. Its higher end so the portions arent large considering the price, but the presentation and interesting flavor combinations make up for it. Tried the guacamole, which was good but not particularly noteworthy, the sliders (wonderful) and the scallops (perfect flavor and spiciness). The strawberry cake for dessert was also great, and a generous portion.

Strange combinations of food and was not at all what we were expecting. Check out what ingredients are in each of the items on the menu before sitting down. It is fresh quality food though served in small portions. The idea is to order several items and share. If it is tequila you are in search of, this is your kind of place. We were still hungry when we left and do not intend on going again.

I only gave 3 stars because the service is extremely poor. I only saw my waiter once to take my order and once to give me my check. We had to get our own silverware and forget about refills. BUT the food is fabulous and I will definitely be back to try something new despite the poor service. Its definitely worth checking out. Guac and Elotes is to die for.

Five stars for the service! Stopped in for a late night drink and some chips and salsa. Both were excellent (I got beer, wife got sangria), but the best part....got to talking to the server about hot food and hot sauce, and she gave me a bottle of their red hot sauce! Its now in my fridge and it goes on my food regularly. Good stuff.

This is one of those restaurants where you pay an arm and a leg for a tiny portion of food. We had horrible service too! Our wait or had a b.o. problem and was never around when we needed him..they were out of the tequila my husband wanted.

Eten was heerlijk. Echt een aanrader. Als je genoegen neemt met een kleine hap is het goed betaalbaar

If you like tequila, theres no other place in Memphis. Upscale Mexican with a southern influence, so dont expect pure traditional. That said, have never been disappointed by the food. Personally love the empanadas and albondigas.

One of my favorite places downtown. The food is fantastic, authentic Mexican! Make sure to come by for their Happy Hour, which runs from 11-7. 2 for 1 margaritas are an amazing deal, and they have food specials, as well.

Food was fabulous and came quickly. We had our queso within 3 minutes of ordering. The selection of tequilas is huge and the cocktail menu is worth working through. Staff were attentive and quick.

Great food, but a little overpriced. Its common for them to be out of something (particular menu item, drink, etc.), but its worth checking out if youve never been there before.

Food was good but not amazing for their price (more aesthetic than flavor) and service was slow, but it was Cinco de Mayo and drinks (house margaritas) were delicious

You might want to call ahead to see if theyre open. The employees must want to bail when its slow. Closed before 930p. Second attempt to try the place.

For a place naned agave maria you gotta have a better margarita, dont use premix. And it was $10 about 12oz Marg with ice.

Margarita was terrible and way overpriced. Not sure if it was a bad mix for Cinco De Mayo or if that was their standard.
