Well, my wife & I LOVE Casa Marias. Last night we stopped in for dinner. We ordered 2 -16oz Margaritas 2 tacos & 2 street tacos with a side of cheese rice. Well we drank all of our margaritas, my wife drank a water, and I drank a beer. We had been sitting there for over 45 minutes and still no food. It wasnt like we ordered anything complicated, it was only tacos! The waitress had already brought us a 2nd round of chips & salsa and said food would be right up. Well 15 minutes went by and still no food. After eating the chips & salsa and the drinks, we were full so we told the waitress to cancel our food because we were no longer hungry and requested the check for the drinks we ordered. There were no apologies etc. She just told us that there was a big party they were taking care of. WRONG ANSWER!!! Well, as much as we love the food, I dont know if we will be going back. We have had slow service there before but this was above and beyond the worst experience there! Totally unacceptable!

You want authentic - go to Casa Maria! You want great service - TRUST ME go to Case Maria. You want to fight with your family over the take out order of a 32 oz container of their salsa and who ate more of it than the rest of the family - GO TO CASA MARIA! lol Seriously we drove for 1 hour to eat there and we were not disappointed! Sergio (Manager) waited on us and was sooooooo charming :) Well be back, only this time Im ordering 2 take out 32 oz containers of their salsa (oh and, yeah - the price was ONLY $3.00 and came with chips - can you believe this!!!) Enjoy ---- and spread the word "Casa Maria is DE-LISH"!

I called in to ask a question about their burritos, and the call was ended with no mutual goodbye. When I placed my order for pickup, and I went up there, a side comment was made indirectly if I paid online after the fact I have already identified myself that I was there for a pickup. While I placed my order online, I stated I didnt want any beans. I get home, not only is there beans, but my meat was charred, and there was also more rice than anything.

Fantastic. The Barbacoa Street Tacos are the best tacos Ive ever had. Three street tacos (can be ordered separately and different meats on each one) was a full meal for me. All of us ordered something different and loved it. Casa Maria out shines all the other Mexican restaurants in the St Louis Metro area. Youd have to go to Albuquerque, NM to find anything even close. Fast, friendly service in a colorful and very clean setting.

Food is reasonably priced and excellent. The staffing was not enough. There d only one person working the front. Seating tables, taking orders, making drinks, taking orders and settling the bills. While we were there 10 tables walked in with only one person to tend to everything. The poor girl was busy and had to sacrifice service to keep her head out of the weeds. Once staffing and service is addressed, well be back.

My husband and I are from Texas, so its hard to find a really comparable restaurant to fit and serve our Mexican food needs. While this place caters more towards the "Tex-Mex" cuisine, its still really good food and fits the bill for us. I would looooove to see more feel-good dishes on the menu, such as calavaza con pollo, fideo, and carne guisada. Casa Marias: If yall need any recipes, id be happy to share my abuelitas!!!

Went on a Sunday late afternoon and only had one other table occupied. We sat our selves and were waited on by very nice man (owner?). The house margarita was pretty good and the food was above average for this area, I had the street tacos which were really good, husband had a very big pork burrito which he really enjoyed, kids had nachos, a taco and a burrito and both of them were happy. This will be our new go to place

Everything about this place is fantastic I ended up here one Cinco de Mayo because our normal Mexican restaurant was too busy ever since then we have never gone back we are still at Casa Maria the service is great food is great the drinks are great and the owner is fantastic I couldnt be more happy and more satisfied overall 11 out of 10 thats just great

Ive had pretty much everything on the lunch menu. Their street tacos are outstanding but overpriced. Their entrees are about 3.5 stars. But the Pollo con arroz is one of the best Mexican dishes Ive ever had. For that dish alone, I give this place 5 stars. Atmosphere, prices, and taste are all about 4 stars.

I love the street tacos. The food is really good and the staff is friendly but it can take a while to get service. I have noticed it seems they have hired more people and service is a little faster. The prices are reasonable.

The wait staff is very friendly. The food is probably the BEST Mexican in the bistate area. Every visit we order the arozze con pollo along with something else. The prises are reasonable. Treat yourself.

Possibly one of the best Mexican restaurants on the east side. A little off the beaten path and tucked away near downtown Belleville, but its worth the trip. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful.
